"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I got dumped earlier. I'm hurting right now. I ended the call quick and didn't swear her out or anything.
I probably didn't take the relationship seriously and she lost interest. Or she just lost interest/ or seeing someone else. In fact, it seems like she's still a little interested..
It's real tough. What can I tell you... what are you going to do.
Any help is appreciated. I plan to not even pay attention to my phone for a couple weeks to see if she texts/calls. If I happen to see her name Ill just ignore it. I don't have much motivation right now

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I know the feeling. Never let your guard down; that's when you get blind sided

Well, I probably took her for granted. And yeah, I do want her back. I just didn't know if I was ready for a LTR so I probably blew it...

First. Take it out of your mind that you 'lost' her. That will only lead to creating a larger chasm between you and her. You need to remember your value, which can be hard as self shaming starts to take root. Don't water that ****, because although there is pain you can choose to use it for self reflection or pity. Step back and get clear, and start to feel like your self, then you can navigate. It's hit and miss at these points. Either let it go and let her miss you or go for it and make something happen just gauge her responses and actions not her words necessarily. And make sure you see her in person rather than chat about **** over the phone or text.

Be careful too with the getting her back idea because it can lead to 'walking on eggshells' which becomes stepping lightly out of fear of displeasing her and hearing the crunching sound of worry and uncertainty of her potentially leaving/ ending things again. That too can mess with your sense of value. Or it can lead you to become annoyed and disappointed and make it easier for you to be ok with moving

Think about things about her, yourself, and whatever else to brush some seriousness off this whole thing too.

Best to yah.

^^^^^ pretty much sums it up bro. there is a 1% chance that it could work out long term.

this sort of thing has happened to the majority of blokes and I'm sure many of them on here. yeah sure you get back with her and it is all fine and dandy for the first couple weeks / months BUUUUUUT down the road you both will more than likely fall back into old habits and break up again. or just try to continue and stay miserable.

I would much rather break up with a new pvssy than break up with the old one again. I take it that you are quite young? go out and experience some new girls and have some fun. LTR is overrated

Yep, yep... you might as well get over now (the easy way) instead of trying to hold on (and be back to the start again in X amount of time). Unless you can both become spiritually enlightened it'll never workout.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

+1. I thought this is what I wanted too. But ended up with an insecure girl who disrespected me. Give it a few days/weeks and you might just notice you're happier without her.
