"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

This combination of words sounds a lot better than it is! It's in a closed group as well so I have to see her twice a week. I guess I should act completely normal as before, neither avoiding nor seeking her out, and keeping our limited snippets of talk all-business. My friends advised me to be very oblique about asking her out. I did so precisely because we never have a chance to talk in our busy group. I was relatively direct instead ("I wanna offer you somethin' to drink one a these days" (it comes out much better in Italian) and she scrunched up her face and hurried away ("eeh we'll see") lol it seems I screwed up. A shame as she's a cutie and seemed friendly when we met a month ago (only seen her four times since).

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

She wouldn't have done that if Leonardo DiCaprio asked her to a drink. Just move on, she ain't interested.

Case closed.

It amuses me how a woman can seem friendly and smile a lot, setting her apart from the miserable bags a lot of women tend to be, but it doesn't mean she's up for flirtation necessarily.

I wonder what's the average number of girls you must ask out/show interest in, before you end up banging one of them. Or in other words, how many rejections you must face before you end up having sex with one girl.
In my case it is greater than 6-7 for sure...each time, so it's tiring.

Some girls are in a relationship but you dont know it until you ask them out. Others dont find you attractive. Others are not in the mood to meet someone. Others are still hung up on their exes. Etc...

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I screwed up.
No you didn't. You expressed interest in her and directly to her. She didn't 'blow you off'. She said "we'll see". Don't chase her. Hang back, keep a light touch, let your sense of humor lead. And DGAS.

Don't listen to your friends on how you ought to approach a woman either unless they have a track record of pulling the hottest women on the planet at will.

That's good advice Tictac.

My friends are certainly prolific, even though they brag a lot and constantly show off pictures of their latest conquest, it isn't all hot air; they're constantly buried in their phones talking to multiple women. They don't even go for numbers, one friend told me; simply seeing where a girl has tagged herself with her friends that evening on FB and "happening" to show up works wonders, so he said. I'm constantly frustrated at my lack of tail compared to them. Working on self improvement is helping me feel less frustrate and have more patience.

So in other words, they're stalking/chasing women. Nothing pathetic about that.
