I've got a date with a 24 yr old tomorrow night and was wondering if you guys think I'm treading where I shouldn't be?

I met her at a party last weekend through a mutual female friend who is 40. I was with a 28 yr old hottie I used to go out with 2 yrs back so i couldn't really talk to her. The next week I run into our mutual friend and she tells me this girl want her to give me her phone number. So i called her up and asked if she wanted to do lunch and she said she doesn't have long lunch breaks but wants to know if I wanna meet her Tuesday night for some drinks!

For one do you guys think she is too young? I say fvck it I'm gonna do what makes me happy and not worry about what other people think. For one I have girls constantly telling me I look early 30's so I guess I'm aged well. haha!

Secondly I'm trying to figure out what the hell we're going to talk about! She's a nurse and fairly mature for her age.

Oh and she just recently broke up with her boyfriend...

What do u guys think?

THis is the only problem here -
If you get with this babe , you are going to be 'rebound guy'.
Women who are recently broken up, look for a guy to help them repair their ego. They want validation of their attactiveness and confirmation of their market value.
IF you date her, that will be your 'mission' as fas as she is concerned, but she won't say this because she is unaware of her own motives.
I know that this sounds cynical but that is what women do, so by all means get with her BUT do it with your eyes open and your heart GUARDED.
DO not believe what this woman says about what she wants.. she wants YOU to validate her attractivenees An older guy is perfect for this. She will get a greater

I'm amazed some of you still use the word.

Same thing with some of the advice on here such as "Go get a cup of coffee with her". C'mon bros, you're not socially that inept. These terms and ideas might've been cool in 1950, but they've been played out rigorously...time for new/original ones. Sometimes I really think it's gotta be a joke.

I've replaced "I have a date" with ---> "I'm hanging out with some chick."

I've replaced "Go get a cup of coffee with her" with ---> "Go to a bar/club with her."

Well the "date/hangout(edger)" went pretty good last night. Took her to a cool restaurant and sat in the bar and had dinner. She was kinda quiet at first and I did most of the talking but after she finished her martini she really opened up! I had only seen her once so I kinda forgot what she looked like but sh!t she was a cuttie!!! She didnt seem to care about the age difference either.

She had to be at work this morning at 6:30 so we called it a night around 10 but she sent me a text when she got home and said she had a great time and she enjoyed talkin to me...so far this i dont see any cracks in this "plate"
Her bday is this weekend and she invited me to her party sat night so we'll see...

oh and she doesn't have a myspace lol!!! green flag!!

I agree, if you do go, just be prepared to meet all her friends, who may be immature even though she's not. Then her friends will judge you through a microscope, and report their "findings" to her.

Then there's the present thing, you would have to get her a present of some sort. The present will then be micro analyzed (along with you) to see if there's some sort of deeper significance to why you chose to get her what you did.

Your goal with her should be alone time. Time for you to score points with her first.

One thing is that it's going to be at a local bar(i live in a small town) so there will be other people in there as well and we usually end up going there anyhow. But i probably wont make it. I just dont want her to think that i'm a d!ck for not showin up.
