Got a car question, would like opinion

Hey guys, I currently drive a crappy beat up 1985 Pontiac Bonneville. But we have a Ford Gran Torino in the yard I could easily fix up (easier than this pontiac im already driving). I believe it's between a 72 and 75. I plan on supercharging, re painting, getting a sound system, the works. Do you think this would be preferable to a truck as far as just plain pimpinness and coolness. Haha, give me some tips and things I can do to this car.

As far as "pimpness" goes, it probably would be pimp to the .02% of girls in America who would know what a Gran Torino is. The rest will just think you're driving around in a beat-up redneck jalopy.

If it's not new or HIGHLY recognizable, most girls couldn't care less about being impressed with your ride. hell, I had a pristine '58 Cadillac as a daily driver for a while, and it didn't do anything for my game, most girls just thought it was "old".

Yeah you'll never pick up a girl in a porche, a vette a lambo or the hundreds of other flashy cars in the world. If you're not in a busted up car with the fender missing or busted out lights (general bad condition) or you're driving a model t, your game should be contingent upon you and your personality first then your amenities and others second. When I pick up a girl in a bar all they see is me, It's not like I can sport a sign that says "I drive a lotus" and the next dude has a sign that says "I drive a beetle" so on and so forth. It's good to seal the deal with a nice vehicle to take a girl home in but I still took home plenty of hot girls in my beater civic (god rest it's soul) when I owned it. If you've got game, and you're not a homeless bum, then you should be able to pick up girls no matter what you drive.

Car doesn't matter - if your game is tight, it doesn't matter.

I got an 02 Mustang. Hasn't helped my game, but I get looks from girls. Probably because it's loud.

It's only a V6, insurance was through the roof for a GT. I plan on modding it more over the next few months. I've already got a MAC CAI, catback exhaust with Flowmaster 40s with an H pipe. I love the rumble when I start it up.

Next up is some UD pulleys w/ a new belt, SCT tuner, and I'm switching to 4.10 gears. I've already got some 18 inch deep dish bullitt rims (black), and lowering springs that were given to me, I think they're 1 inch. To top it off, I'm probably going to get a 2" Cowl hood. It will give it a sporty, more agressive look without all that ricer crap.

Well, if they took notice of the logo on the key fob they could... well actually, they couldn't. I have a 2005 Lotus Elise, and the key fob is just this ambigious eliptical alarm fob... no sign of marque whatsoever. I guess you're not supposed to flaunt it... LOL!
