Seems like a person I met the other day claimed the mega millions. Sadly his wife is making him donate it to the town where he bought it. What would you do in that situation?

Foolish wife. Bureaucrats wouldn't know how to properly appropriate that money. What the hell does the town have to do with the winning ticket? If she has such a hard on for that silly fax-philanthropy, he can invest the money within the town on income producing assets.

Real estate with a non-profit renting the building. That way the wife gets her warm and fuzzies, and they're not throwing away Fortuna's gift.
