"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So I've never kissed anybody, even on the cheek. (except when my mom makes me  ) I've always thought a kiss was just a kiss, but then everybody's talking about this person being "a good kisser" or "a bad kisser" so I don't know what makes the difference and I don't know how / what to practice on.

I'm dating a girl for the first time and eventually I'll want to kiss close but since I'm in college, all the girls are older than me and have been in relationships before, so I don't want to look like a total moron.

How do I practice?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Practice makes perfect. Women usually kiss the way they want to be kissed. Once you find yourself a woman to kiss, pay attention to what they're doing and copy them. This is the way to become a good kisser.

Also, practice makes perfect.

I read that alot of people generally learn to kiss via the movies due to this being their first experience of such phenomena...if you have nothing else to go on then why the hell not?

Some hints to be a good kisser.

1. Go slowly, build up the anticipation.
2. Most women don't like to feel like you're trying to check their tonsils with your tongue. Don't shove your tongue down her throat. Play with her tongue, run your tongue along her lips, playfully suck her tongue lightly if she sticks it in your mouth. Filling her mouth with your tongue is a REALLY BAD idea.
3. Kissing is only 25% the mouth. Play with her hair. Kiss her neck, nibble on her shoulders and ear lobe. Rub her arms, shoulders, small of her back etc, very lightly.
4. Have good breath, brush your teeth, floss, use mints, etc.
5. Change tempo, kiss her hard, then back off, and give her tiny kisses. Kiss her deeply, then pull back and caress her face, and her lips with your finger while looking in her eyes.
6. Tease her, get real close to where you're exchanging breaths but not touching yet. Look her in the eyes, and don't let her kiss you. Tell her you're trying to memorize that look in her eyes.
7. If you're kissing her around the ear, don't stick your tongue in her ear, it's loud and usually annoying, nibble around the ear instead, lick the outer edge.
8. The neck is probably the best part, nibbling, sucking, licking, caressing. Does wonders for her heart rate.
9. Never, ever ask her if you can kiss her. Be confident, you'll know very, very quickly if she wanted to kiss you.

Those are the ones I can think of right now. You'll learn as you go. It's really not that hard. As long as you avoid the trouble spots.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

MRomeo99:

Nice!!! You're right on every point.

Now ALWAYS remember #9 that MRomeo99 wrote. It doesn't have to do with the kissing itself, but i'll make you come off as a total moron, even if you're the best kisser in the world!

The most important rule when it comes to the kissing itself is definitely to not stick your tounge too deep. Less it more! Go slow, follow the rythm, and remember to open your mouth as much as she does (That is: Not too much, not to little).

If you're very confident you can tease her when you're about to kiss for the first time. Let me explain:

Imagine that You're looking into her eyes while smiling.

You're slowly moving closer to each other (1). You smile, look into her eyes even deeper (2), and almost touch your lips against hers (3). Blow(correct word?) hot air on her lips softly(now, don't fvcking do that if you smell bad. btw. don't even talk to the girl if you smell bad or have a bad breath :p ) , so she almost can eel what you taste like (hope you understand what i mean) (4) ,and then - head back slowly (5). Not too far away, just 10 cm or something. The main idea is to make her UNDERSTAND that you're teasing her, not that you're turning her down or avoiding a kiss!!!

Right after, smile again, and lean your head closer to hers and kiss her softly.(6).
