"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

As part of my now starting self improvement programme I want to start listening to some good DJ music and watch some DJ movies. I love listening to music but I realized lately that most of the music I listen to isn't that positive or is totally AFC/nice guys music. I was wondering what kind of music you guys listen to that gets you in a positive mood and fills you with self confidence. Short now: some good DJ music!

The same with movies. What are some good DJ movies? I know Fight Club is one of the best and I've watched it a lot, but I'm searching for some more.

Thanks!

By the way, if such a thread already exists please tell me where it is. I couldn't find it.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Scarface is the god of all DJ movies. IMO.

As for music.. just listen to whatever. Most music is pretty AFC.. and emotional. We have a sub genre dedicated to being AFC, it's called EMO. I enjoy listening to that kind of music sometimes.. but I don't let it run my life, like some people do. Listen to whatever you want.. but if you want some stuff to pump your DJism, or you're about to sarge or get your game on.. then try listening to rap. That's the genre that gives the most DJ vibe.. IMO. A good song I've been listening to late is Calling All Cars by Senses Fail, it's been keeping me from getting oneitis lately. Just got remind yourself who is the boss, aint it right playa.

Try to do that now and then, but I fail mostly after a few days or weeks. What's your reason to stop watching porn?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Tony Montona (Al Pancino) in the movie Scarface is one of the best. The first half of the film (up intill he gets rich) is as DJ as you can get (If you ignore the bits with Michelle Phiefer)

What is wrong with being nice? Some of you boys really need to take a closer look at yourselves. Movies and music is not going to do it. Acting tough is so silly. Instead of acting tough you should become tough. BIG DIFFERENCE in the two. You can be sweet and nice while still being as tough as they come.

"Scarface" is gay. It is what dudes who stare at men's magazines watch on tv. That is, when they can escape the fat middle-aged wife and 2.3 screaming kids. Do yourself a favor and head to Kaliningrad. That is right. If you want violence, tough dudes, and beautiful girls who will love you that is the place you can have it. Real life beats the hell out of a movie any day of the week. The thing is that most guys are full of s***. They are scared. They live life as little boys. If this wasn't the case I would see more of you on KLM flights headed to some of these places.

Listen to what you like. Watch what you like. If it takes movies and music to drive you, you have bigger problems than you realize.

I totally don't agree with you. Movies and Music is not what drives me, it is part of it. As I say in the first sentence of my first post in this thread "PART of my self improvement programme". Not everything! You don't know how big of an influence music has on people. If you listen to happy music you will feel more happy, if you start listening to gangster rap you will feel more like a pimp even if you're still the same idiot as you was before.

Me for example like listening to the band Bright Eyes. I think it's one of the best bands ever, but it's so depressing I get sucked up in it too much and feel sad after listening to it. I also realized that after listening to really happy upbeat songs I was feeling more happy afterwards. Just because of the music! I was looking in my music collection and I realized there was no real "boy power" or "man power"-music Just because I'm not aware of it's existence! There is a whole pop genre devoted to the so called "girl power" music. But is there any boy power music? I only know rap, but if degrading women is what our power should be than it's kind of lame. So I was just asking for some music that gives you guys a positive mindset. It's all the mindset. Let me quote Pook: "Assume you are the great catch, think that you are, and as you think you shall become." So what is wrong in asking for positive music that gives me a positive mindset which will have positive side effects? Please explain this to me, Sparky0000. As you are the wisest guy you know this should be a piece of cake.

Moving off topic now: Why can't we swear on this forum? It's really pathetic we have to say: fvck, cvnt, sh1t and b1tch instead of the actual words. Everybody knows what it says but whole new finger-keypad coordinations are needed. Hell, we can't even say "***** cat dolls". :nono: Or is this site owned by Tipper Gore? :D

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Watch Swingers and Entourage. Want an example of an alpha male? Watch Scrubs and pay attention to Dr. Cox.

Pimp songs:

Bee Gees - Stayin Alive. How do you not get pumped up with confidence listening to this song. Hell you might even walk with a swagger after listening. Classic.

Bob Seger - Night Moves. Not really a "gaming" song. But more along the lines of what it's like to be carefree. Remember no one is judging your success but you, so enjoy the journey.

If you want to travel down the rap road, find these songs.

Murs - Bad Man
Apathy - Night Life, Womanizer
Akrobatik - Woman II
Gangstarr - She Knows What She Wants, Ex Girl To The Next Girl

Great songs about all this stuff.
