"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Recently met a woman thru work, (not a coworker) after talking with a couple of times casually I asked for the digits. She refused. Now normally I would have stopped pursuing right there. In a way I did. We ran into each other a couple more times, casual conversation ensued, and I never asked for the digits again. Lo and behold she offers up her phone #. Alright, I'm thinking maybe this is a plate that's a slow spool-up. (RED FLAG).
I call her up, we chat. I ask her to meet me for drinks and appetizers about a week from the call. (I had a busy schedule between the call and the night I asked her out). She agrees. I go on with my life....the night before she text messages me to see how I am, and to confirm we are meeting up the next day. I said yes, and see you at 6. We meet solo for first time, and it was a disaster scene. The girl is a serious control freak....hmmm maybe KC should have gotten that from the phone # being withheld so long.
Bottom line, if you get any resistance early, especially something like a phone #, you quite possibly are wasting your time. Proceed with caution. My mistake was I didn't listen to my gut. The resistance was a FLAG that I should have listened to. That and she tried some other frame setting during conversation. Other flags I should have seen things like her saying I'm very independent (read rigid), and she hadn't finished school (with plenty of opportunity to), or for that matter really stuck to anything for a long time (didn't appear to have follow thru on things).

When it comes down to it, go with your gut. I thought I should give new age hippie girl a chance. I got a refresher at why that doesn't work for me.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I guess part of becoming the mature man means learning how to deal with your gut feelings effectively. I think it can be tough because sometimes your gut tells you one thing while your brain says something else all the while your "heart" says something totally different.

It probably all comes from experience and going back to the drawing board to learn from what you did.

Was she involved with someone else until recently? Maybe that had to do with her reluctance to give you her number. Maybe she decided after thinking about it that she liked you enough to forgo her usual stance of not dating people from the work place.

The fact that she gave you her number says to me that there was interest, although maybe not sky high. Go with your gut though mate. Its always served me well and one needs to trust their intuition.

Harry,
Don't know what her dating history was. Again she doesn't work for my company, she knows a woman that does. The phone # reluctance, I have hit on a idea about it. She holds herself as a high commodity. Basically my gut tells me that since she doesn't hold a high hand at life (skills, finance, network) She uses the game of high demand to make you think its worth it. What do we know of this game at SS? It's the same game as a woman that withholds sex as a power play. It's almost never worth the wait.
Nope, I totally believe that if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck......it's not a princess....it's a duck.

I learned with my failures and by seeing strippers work last night.

All women know how to light your switches , your gut animal instinct will act upon what she does.

They will provoke you , play hard to get , to test you until where your limits and weakness are.

I like what you guys said previously, is awesome!

Gut insitnct for me is useful in how to use it when you go in for a kiss or going sexual. It is powerful and awesome.

Masculine gut instinct comes out,

but if its decision making stuff w women....
It is with your head and not your **** nor your heart.

I made mistakes and guys here helped me. your emotional gut instinct takes over and you end up doing stupid **** and even shooting yourself in the foot.

ITs your core masculinity, control it and know how to use it.

keep it simple : think with your head and not your d i c k , worse your heart.

you see a win/win opportunity go for it , you will never regret you did.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
