Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Hi All,

=======================================
Hi All,

Well, I haven't posted or lurked here for a while, heck I remember when the forum had a different colour scheme ;-)

Perhaps I should cross post this in the > 25 forum as I am > 25 years old, but I will likely get more replies here, anyway here's my latest.

Of course thanks to those on here and all your advice, I have met a nice lady and have gone out on 2 dates. Things are going very well indeed (very well I emphasise), but how to progress from here?

Should I still see her maybe once a week? Should I see her more of her?

And what is the best way of broaching the subject of sex with her? I have gotten laid with women before, but never "made love" within a relationship. Do people sleep together but not have sex for a few times? Or is the first time you go to bed with a woman, also the first time to have sex?

And do you have any suggestions for keeping the situation and potential for future relationship well and alive?
I am not getting carried away, but things are going well, and I wish them to continue this way.

Thanks for any great tips you have - I see a lot here about picking up women, also some posts about maintaining a long term relationship, but not much about making the transition between the two.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

What do you mean by very well? Have you kissed her? Held her hand whilst walking down the street? Behaved as a couple? F*ked like rabbits for a day non-stop?

Progression should be natural. You can't just say I want to see you on friday nights only etc. When you want to do something, call her up and invite her out. Simple.

Should I still see her maybe once a week? Should I see her more of her?

See her whenever you want. But as a general rule you should limit your time with her to around once a week for the first three months.

And what is the best way of broaching the subject of sex with her?

Whenever you are unsure with chicks on what to do, follow the Nike motto - Just do it (with confidence)

Or is the first time you go to bed with a woman, also the first time to have sex?

That is the best outcome. But you can have sex anywhere besides the bedroom on your first time with a girl, it promises to be a memorable time together :D

Yeah sorry, I should add that I kissed her at the end of the 1st date, then on 2nd date we kissed a lot and holding hands etc. She is saying things like "I feel like we've known each other for a long time" etc.

So I hope this gives you idea of quick progression already!

Sounds like your doing fine. Unassign is right though, keep it to once a week for a while. This will keep it interesting and you wont get tired of each other. That can easily happen if you start seeing each other 3 or 4 nights a week.
As far as sex, you just have to see what you can do. If you get into a heavy make out session, make a move, see what you can get away with :D She will tell you no if she's not ready. Then you know.

I just had the 3rd date with a new one and it's been going great.

We did have sex this time and it was hot.

We are only going out once a week and only talk on the phone once or twice a week. She does however e-mail me almost every day now.

So the question I have is, should I think it strange that she doesn't call me much, or should I accept that more or less as a blessing?

Also how do I keep from going ape**** about her, because I am already, but she doesn't know it since I play it cool around her.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

No, it is not strange that she doesn't call you everyday - that's because SHE doesn't want to scare you off by being too keen.

In order to stop yourself going bananas about this girl, find something else to occupy your mind. Instead of thinking about her, think of new ways to make money or further your career.

Thanks guys.

She does e-mail me every day. I like that.

E-mail really helps censor you too. I try to be a bit ****y and funny in them and don't expose the AFC feelings that are churning in my stomach!
