"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Going to Lunch

In a little under two weeks I will be going to prom. The girl I'm going with I do know fairly well and I've hung out with her before, but not in a long time. So, anyways, I want to get to know her a little better before prom so it goes as smoothly as possible. I've started to like the girl more recently so I'd like to hook up with her after prom, and hopefully potentially make it into a relationship, but I'm not gonna push for that unless prom goes real well.

Anyways, I figure the best way to have prom go smoothly aside from just applying all the DJ skills all night will be to hang out with her some before prom. So, this Saturday I think I'm gonna ask her to go out to lunch.

While any other tips on making prom go as best as possible, etc. are by all means welcome and encouraged, my main question is whether or not I should pay for her lunch. I don't even know if I am myself going to consider it a date because my main goal isn't for lunch, it's that I want prom to go real well. I kind of feel like I should pay for it (but in a carefree way, maybe saying my mom just gave me some money that day and I don't mind spending it), but then again since I doubt she would consider it a date, I also feel like I don't need to. What do you guys think?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I myself would just ask her to meet for lunch, and figure she would pay for herself. Most likely she'll assume she's paying for her own meal anyhow, don't go anywhere fancy either. Chill, prom will be fine.

Yeah, I'm not planning on going anywhere real nice. Just a regular place.

And for prom I'm not worried that it's gonna go bad, I just think I will have a better shot at hooking up with her after prom and/or turning it into a relationship if I get to know her better beforehand.

Flirt. By all means Flirt. Flirt!

Just ask her about payment. One of my favorites is when I say "Wait... so youre going to pay for me, right?" The girl will notice the confidence, flirtiness, ****iness and humility with this sentance. She might say after this, "What?! Aren't you suppost to pay for me?" Then you say "Oh, well its not like were dating or anything......... (then subtly, inquisitively and sneakily say) or are we?" Then touch it off with a friendly wink followed by some kino on the back - prefferably a 1½-2 second rub on the back. She wont know what hit her. If done right she'll be like putty in your hands ;)

Oh, also - on the subject of where, its always better to take them to nicer places if you can afford it. It shows class, just make sure that they understand you're doing it because you're a classy guy, not because you want to be walked over. Girls like class. But if you're poor (unlike me) then you could probably just take her to a local restraunt, preferably a non-franchise restraunt. Just don't end up going out for pizza or something, thats a big ghetto no-no.

Thanks for the tips xomel. I may try that.

And I'll probably take her too a somewhat decent place. I mean nothing fancy cause it's just lunch, but I'm not gonna just take her to some fast food place. Pretty much every restaraunt around me is a chain so finding a good restaraunt won't be a problem.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

wait are we talking the day of prom lunch? Or are we talking a week before lunch?

Prom day = suppost to be one of the best days of your life and you should try to uphold that by taking her someplace nice.

Week before prom = Doesn't matter, more importantly is her falling for you.

Yea it's week before prom. I wanna take her to lunch this Saturday, and the prom is the weekend after this one.

And yeah, I was just thinking something like Applebees of Chili's or something like that. Not a bad place, but not fancy.

yep perfect spot. Just pick a sorta casual place that you can wear jeans and stuff. No need for a fancy expensive stuff. Any of those chain type places are fine.

I personally would pickup the tab, just drop down your cc and pay for it. But thats just me.
