Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I can look women right in the eye, smile, walk over, chat, get their phone numbers and usually more if their IL is high...but I have 1 major dilemma holding me back.

My friends NEVER want to go out anywhere.
Sure, they go to the pub from time to time. Most are skint, tight or stay home with their GFs they've had since the start of school or university.

Can a guy go out on his own to get chicks?
If so, how does it work without a wingman?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I play squash regularly as it is.
I've met a couple of guys my age at a wargames club in Euston. They're into the Goth/Metal scene...so I don't know how viable that would be...but at least it could be an expansion of some kind.

Making new friends outside of university is so damned hard!

Yes

You don’t need a wingman to pick up chicks.

Now a place with lots of people in large groups then a wingman might be a good idea to have. But in other situations like a party, street, store, and if you like sticking your pen in company ink at work, and other places where its just 1 or 2 women together then you can go solo. But there are no rules it just depends on you.

I’ve gone solo for a while and I’ve done great. I think it shows that you are more confident when you approach a group of ladies say 2 or 3 by yourself. You can be successful as long as you don’t give off that creepy slash stalker vibe and just a guy that likes to have fun and meet new people. So it doesn’t matter to me. But it is nice to have one. It just depends on you and how confident and comfortable you are with yourself being around 1 or more women. A wingman is just a friend that gives you support, boost of confidence, a scout, picking you up when you get rejected, and stops the co*k blockers. But if you’re good you don’t need one but again it does help especially in a group setting.
