Huge mistake. This is not a risk, this is a 'regret maker'. She's gonna be your boss in the relationship as well, and when you don't comply, things will get real messy real fast. Abort mission.

I personally don't think I could stand the chick I'm going out with being my boss. All good on the night "I'm THE FREAKING MAN, JUST OWNED MY BOSS", but after ughhhhhh "YES, SORRY, YOU ARE RIGHT, OK I WILL DO THAT, NO THERE IS NOTHING BETWEEN ME AND THAT OTHER GIRL", I've seen this happen quite a lot of the times and you can see who wears the pants in the relationship and it can look quite pitiful.

If I was in your position my actions will depend on what I am willing to risk, which will either fall into these categories.

A. If I don't really care about the job that much and I'm prepared to leave> Bang the boss and stick around whilst looking for another job and whilst there I will not take any of her **** if she is willing to test me as I will just leave more promptly.

B. Care about my job and not prepared to leave > Don't bang her and find someone else.


Or .....

C. Care about my job, but willing to progress to a higher position somewhere else> Wait for that opportunity and leave, then bang the boss and keep her as a FB.

This however is just me, just make sure to think of the consequences and how you two will be after this happens.

I'm well aware of the consequences, but I also feel I need to take a risk.
I tried to let this go...then I see her and talk to her and I can't put it aside. She's attractive and fun.
It's not an easy decision.
Just to be clear, while she is the big boss, I don't report to her. In fact I hardly talk to her at the office. In the end though she does have the power to have me not work there again.

I also feel like the end result is the same if I do or dont do something.
I haven't made a move and her attitude kinda changed towards me. So I'm thinking...might as well have done something!

Since we've talked about going out again I feel I need to come through with at least that. But if I get to that point then I feel something needs to be said just to eliminate that doubt. I just don't know if I should be straight up with her about what's going on or keep quiet. I think we both know we are interested but no one wants to make a move due to the work thing.

More detail needed, is this a "career" you trained for and expect to do longterm? or a job as in "just a job" you are doing for the time being? If the former, if anything does happen, she will realize near immediately that she is committing sexual harrassment by definition and may launch a preliminary attack that could be extremely nasty with longterm career or life problems for you. The worst imaginable thing would be a false rape accusation. Of course this is always a small possibility with any sexual encounter, but the minute you two touch each other, she is backed into a legal corner and loses all power outside of immediate measures to preemptively screw you legally. Her realization of this could create an extreme reaction. Avoid.

If it's just some lowgrade "job" and you rarely see her, eh, go ahead and work it just like any other option. Get and keep flirty exchanges on text, email, VM, in case she starts spinning yarns later.

Well this job is paying my bills right now until the end of the year when I move back to my home state. It's a non corporate environment and I'm not a staff employee so I'm at the office about two times a week on average.
If I did get the boot I would just move. Maybe getting a nice referral would be out of the question specially working in a specific industry.

I also feel that she knows what's involved since she initiated this whole thing by suggesting we meet outside the office.

Put the quill down before you even think about inking it. You really should just use this as a learning experience to be able to build up the discipline NOT to do this at future jobs you will and do care about. As PlayHer Man would say, you wouldn't have such a hankering for her if you were spinning plates. She's just another broad in a sea of tuna.
