Going out by yourself

Does anyone here ever go to a bar\club on their own?

I got a dillema, I got no one to go out with today and people that I can usually end up spending 50$ a night. I cant afford that.

So I was thinking to hit up some bars maybe.

When I need a break from my usual drinking crowd, I go out by myself. It forces me to be more outgoing and social. Just go to a bar you have been in before and just have fun.

It's a bit of a challenge to go by yourself to a bar.

People (read: women) may think that you're an alcoholic, serial killer/rapist, boring, or sideline masturbator.

On the other hand, if you're wearing a sharp tux and your name is Bond, James Bond then you probably got a shot (no pun intended).

I personally don't like going to places like that alone. It's always more fun with friends. I would say go for it if you really don't want to sit at home all night.

If you are new to town you have a valid excuse. I have one at least for a while.

But after a few months if I have no wingman I don't know.

I can tell you one thing, I've picked up a few times on my own and scored that night. Kind of nice to not have to worry about being ****blocked.
