"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Met a great girl/**** buddy....she was moving things at a break neck pace....I always stayed cool...and tried to apply the principles of this board ....after four months or so of me wearing down and a few mistakes...I revealed my feelings to early and she seemed to have flaked/predictibly and she said i seemed to want to be settled....so she wanted out....... we seemed to have crashed.......not sure what happened but she didn't give me any answers, and I only asked her once......through email....and phone.....then I walked away....figuring things were just to crazy in her life for any committment....but I'm secretly still crazy about her and would like to keep her in my life as a friend/**** buddy/potential lover....

You see, if you handle this right the fish never even realizes for the most part that it is being reeled in! This is because whenever the fish shows a lot of fight and resistance, the wise fisherman gives out just enough line to reassure it that he or she is still free. The fisherman never exerts any real force or pull in an all out battle of wills, until the fish is so tired of resisting and fleeing that it doesn't really care anymore to resist.

We ****ed for 5 months....1 month has past sinced I walked away with no contact or explanation.....she has not reciprocated...but she has however mysteriously disappeared fro the gym where I work at ....and that is not like her. It leads me to believe, that I had more of an effect on her life than I thought...and it must be tough to see me.

My friend says don't even attempt to talk for at least 3 months...then I can just casually talk to her...small talk...and then work on just being a friend.....is this a good game plan?

Meanwhile, I'm dating others, but this woman definitley affected me enough to want to see her again in the future...

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

seriously, it sounds like this relationship is over. its beyond saving, and if it wasnt, not worth the effort. just find a new girl, its a lot easier than dealing with all the crap you're in for.

I'm movin' on...so just scratch her off forever...??? C'mon, I know we both have some issues, but DAMN...no relationship is perect, and neither are people...sometime if the time is right I want to be ready, IF she is wanting to have fun again with me I want to be ready...how long is to long...???sometimes everyone needs emotional space, guys and girls, right? I've needed it before and it wasn't cuz I didn't have the hots for a girl....it just gives it some more uuummmphhh...so to speak ... puts more excitement in the relationship...especially if timing is key...right or wrong?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
