Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

So I'm recently out of a LTR and having some doubts about closing the deal with a woman I recently met.

I'm an electrician and recently was hired to do some side work for a landlord I know in one of this apartment buildings. He showed me the job and introduced me to the tenant a pretty good looking 25 year old Id give her about a 7. She immediately gave me a few IOI's (blushing, avoiding eye contact and having trouble talking to me) it was pretty cute. I gave her my number and set up a time when I could come do the work.

A few days later I noticed she had a snap chat so I added her. she almost immediate excepted my request but never sent me anything. The day arrived to do the work so I called her and she rushed home early to meet me. I hooked her up doing some extra work for her she needed done. We talked while I was working mostly about her living alone and how uncomfortable she was with the neighborhood she told me she was a waitress at a local restaurant on the weekends and that I should come see her sometime. I wasn't able to complete all my work that day so I returned a few days later.

When I showed up the second time she was in the driveway in short shorts and a sports bra hula hooping in the driveway ( she has some skills and was for sure showing off her amazing body) I complemented her and she giggled and messed up what she was doing. I couldn't help but freeze up it's been so long since I've been in that situation. I finished my work and told her if she had any problems to call me and I would come back.

Last night I was out with friends and she snapped me a photo of her home alone and seeming upset so I snapped her back a few times. Shots of the club I was in, my group of friends ect. She snapped me this morning a photo of her at work but I was so busy this weekend with work I couldn't make it so see her. She doesn't work there again until the weekend and I don't know if I can wait that long before asking her out I just don't know how to close this one and not seem like I'm coming on to strong. Any advice on what I should do?

Sorry for the long read.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I did a lot of work in places where there were cute girls, and it's not the easiest thing to do. You're a slave blue collar worker, she's the client, blah blah *insert uncomfortable situation aside from professionalism here*.

However, you did lay down some ground work with the snap chat add. When you finish the job, ask her if she would like to get together. There is no magic bullet here, you just have to ask. Make it quick, as you're about to leave, in a very matter-of-fact kinda way. If she declines, no problem, you were going to jet outta there anyway and you never have to see her again. Otherwise, stay the course and take her sweet ass out for some coffee and see what she's all about.

Good luck.

I don't believe that money and sex go together, so I wouldn't do it, but I'll leave it up to you and your good judgment.

I normally wouldn't mix work and play but this was a one time job and is only side work for me. The job is done and I won't be going back unless something comes up. I feel weird suggesting we should go out via text though I would much rather do it in person.
