Yes by college experience I man getting laid and meeting girls since that is what this site is mostly about. I recently ran across this article by GLL and after reading it hit me right at home. This is the part which starts to talk about the social hierarchy in college.

I know we talk about the 20 to 80 rule but I have found it to be strictly true in college. Most of the guys I have known who are in college right now have a tough time getting laid if they aren't:

1. Athletes
2. Frat boys
3. The small percentage that own their own house and throw parties

The rest of the guys (a vast majority) that don't fall into the 20 percent are:

1. Dating and ****ing girls below their league
2. Not getting laid and just spending nights playing videogames
3. Miserable about the fact that they aren't getting laid

It is not that I have a problem with the way things are, but the way they are presented to be.

I have no problems with who is getting laid in college and who isn't, I am just really angry that media, society, and everyone lies to us and make us feel like if we aren't getting laid in college by cute girls then we are just losers and outcasts. Does being a part of the 80 percent really make you an outcast?

And I have found that no matter how good you looks and how much you improve yourself, if you aren't a part of the incrowd in college then some overweight frat boy will get laid well before you.

It largely depends on the school you go to. Mine is similar. The 20-80 percent role applies to within fraternities too. Idk why every gdi thinks every frat guy is getting ***** on the reg. Only the dad looking ones with gfs and the pretty boys are. Since my school is mainly strongly greek, being in a fraternity just puts you in the race. Girls here are really loyal to their frat daddies.

1. Frat guys that look like dads (king of the social circle game because they come from a popular private schools that feed in to the university or they give out that dad country vibe)
2. Pretty boy looking frat guys (They don't have any trouble pulling at parties or bars, girls drool over them)
3. White athletes (self explanatory)
4. Normal white guys that don't act weird, regular fraternity guys that don't have social circle game
5. Black athletes (varies, if you are in to black women only than they are number 1, if not than you are below normal white guys)
6. Minorities and other
7. Nerds

So assuming you happen to be a member of a minority group like say an Asian guy but you have good looks, are westernized (not fob, but born and raised in America), and happen to rush a frat as well. Where do you fall?

I know everyone here HATES race threads but I really want to know if there is a glass ceiling for men of minority backgrounds here in the US after college. We are talking guys like Jeremy Lin, Mark Sanchez, Aaron Hernandez (before he was jailed and back when he was at UF), and Marcus Mariota.

Like this is something I really wish we could talk about on forums but the second you bring it up you are automatically labeled a troll.

Sucks because it is stuff we all need to know.

For Black athletes I know it varies. You are in some serious denial if you don't think Reggie Bush wasn't pulling 9 and 10 sorority girls over at USC. I wouldn't doubt that Taylor Mays or even an average black athlete was getting some action at USC but White girls. Now on the other hand Black athletes at schools like Auburn or Ole Miss would probably have a tougher time pulling a 9 or 10 because of the close mindedness college brings (how ironic) and the fact that the region of the US has had a history of racism.

I think the best decision a Black athlete (or any minority for that matter) can make is avoiding all SEC schools if they want to live the college experience.

Things seem to be 10 times better in the Big 10, Pac 12, Big East, ACC, and even the Big 12.

I wasnt a black athlete. I was a regular black dude with dreads, who made sure he made friends with EVERYONE. I dunno how dudes have such a tough time getting laid. I had sex my first weekend at university after transferring from junior college.

I dunno whats holding you guys back. 20-80 didnt exist in my school. And it doesnt exist at many universities in NY state, NYC, or the Northeast for that matter.

Ive visited large universities too, and there are plenty of women to go around.

i don't give a damn if every girl wont' date a black guy. there's a reason why every guy on earth wont' get laid. it's unfair to get pissy because every white girl on earth won't date you.

all i ask as a black guy is that i have enough options, i assure you that this is the case if you are an athlete

my point simply being, i agree with you in principle; college probably isn't great if you aren't frat or you don't fit a sterotype of what girls like. but you are taking it a tad to the extreme trying to prove your point. you're taking way too linear an approach ot this

for instance, i'm pretty light skinned i'm technically mixed my mom is mixed. while difficult, i was able to date white chicks when i lived in Arkansas, i had to comb through a lot of them but i was. but light skinned guys have it easier than dark skinned guys would. regardless of where you move when you are talking interracial dating. **** not even interracial dating black chicks like light skinned guys.


and of those guys, white black, athlete, student, whatever, how many of them have anything resembling game? not many.


there are too many variables for you to pigeon hole your point. stop thinking in such black and white terms. just do the best you can with what you have until you can change your circumstances. that's all you can do at the end of the day

My story is interesting. I really had no success in college and it was college that made me start changing how I approach women in general. When I was in high school, I thought I would meet my future wife at college...that didn't turn out to be true!

Than something interesting happened. I moved to a college town at my late 20s and got more college girls than when I was in college. Never in a billion years would you have told me while in college that I would be better at it closer to 30 , but it happened.

But in college, status is everything. You can get laid with your style though, so if you aren't in a frat or playing a major D1 sport, look good, and get to know the right people and go to the right parties. Won't be banging super models, but who cares?

They only like them because they have a ball in their hand. Other than that, they are just a n***** to them. The culture here is the opposite of progression. Not saying everybody here is racist, but the culture here has a racist influence. Sec schools are known for their girls and that draws a lot of black fball players here. Its a trap lol

you're assuming that these women's shallowness just goes so far as the color of your skin. You ever thought that the only reason that they like the frat white guys is beucase they are in frats lol?

20 year old college chicks dont pick women for deep rational reasons is my point. they pick hot, popular, guys. You want women to chose you because

you are a great guy and you have a lot to fofer, and **** white women who are 20 don't chose white guys who are great guys and have a lot to offer lol.


and you're in for a rude f'n awakening hwen you are 25 living in a city and everyone is paring up and all the women you are supposed to like either you can't find them and the ones you can find look like land whales and you dont' have the college security blanket to meet good looking women outside your race.

"hard college" I think its more major dependent. I see english and Comm majors doing jack sh1t. I see all the science majors killing themselves with all nighters. Hard major > hard college (no such thing really )
