"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

A person with great confidence can always give an impromptu speech and earn the audiences attention easily. be it at school, in class or whatever. That's something that i want to be able to do. Anyone know what are the steps that i have to approach?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Speaking is all about just going out and doing it. The more you do it, the more comfortable you will be with speaking to people. Whenever I give a speech. rather it be impromptu or planned I always look people in the eye in the crowd and that always keeps their attention.

With an impromtu speech, simply have a conversation with the audience. I say conversation to the effect that you simply talk to them using a casual voice, asking them rhetorical questions that make them think. This is a good method for persuasive speeches, an example would be stating your side on a political issue. This way you are at ease with the audience, and as they listen, you seem to "just make sense."

With a planned speech, it is important to make eye contact with the audience. Hand motions can also help hammer in a point, but don't get John Kerry with it. He usually made one too many hand motions during the debates, as SNL jested over. Then again, remember Dubya's facial expressions. Remember to smile when you need to, have a serious look when you need to, and be aware that the audience is always looking at you...so no grimaces.

There are organizations around called "Toastmasters" which are specifically for this purpose. I don't know your location, but they're all over the world. You can check them out here.
