"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Yeah, so my last post (i think) was about me trying to take HB7.5 to either pool or coffee date.

I was gonna call her today, but I was busy and got home around 5, and I was dead tired. I texted the girl and told her

"Hey _______! I couldn't set anything today with you because I was busy, but give me a call around 10pm today sweetheart."
***I just "assumed the sale" and sh*t, but possibly my downfall***

She replies: "Oh..I was busy too.. Sweetheart?"

Obviously couldn't tell her tone of voice or nothing, but I figured, if I called today then it would've been the 2nd "no", so I thought NEXTTTTTTTT and texted:

"Actually, never mind. We'll figure something out later on. See ya."

She replies: "Okay :) Bye bye~"

I'm assuming the worst, but keeping my head up high. I didn't take her out once but I'm nexting her. Was I too quick to judge or did I save myself a lot of time by assuming that her IL was low for me?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Sweethart?? You seem like an all american boy who goes to church all the time and does what his mommy tells him. You need to losen up dude. That text you sent made you sound like a girl. Why did you want her to call you? What good would that possibly do? I suggest you lossen your collar and chill out. Im gonna say next cause if youre this "bookish" online, i can only imagine how you actually are.

She was confused as to why you called her a "sweet heart"....if you're going to give a girl a nickname...make it sound masculine.....no sweet hearts....or huns...or not nothing like that.

The best damage control would have been to say something like:

"Yeah, you know, I'm like Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca. I'm sure you see it too! Anyway, call me later!"

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Hahahaha I DO go to church, but I don't think I sounded like some sleezy mama's boy when I say "sweetheart." But whatever, live and learn.

I'll erase sweetheart from my vocabulary and replace it with BABE. thanks fellas.

As for HB7.5 , Iono. I MIGHT give it another go.
