I can only recall ONE girl in my life who was an edgy "bad girl" with a tumultuous past, marrying a doofy-looking beta. I knew her several years ago. I come across her facebook recently and see she's MARRIED to some dude older than me, who I knew when I was a kid. He was in my karate class. Guy is a total doofus, and is not a good looking guy. Which is totally NOT what that girl had ever gone for in the past. I'm pretty sure she has kids from another guy. She was probably REALLY desperate for "stability." But again, that's the only crazy girl I know of personally who actually married her beta provider.

Why is it all the betas are always unattractive, goofy looking guys in these stories and all the alphas are good looking, jacked guys? It's kind of a rhetorical question, I guess. But it kind of suggests that your looks dictates your level of success, and your confidence/frame/attitude. Which again makes sense, I guess.

But I remember awhile back guys not being impressed with a PUA's success if they were good looking. What impressed them was when a plain looking or even unattractive dude was able to be successful. Those were the guys who got respect for their game. Because if a good looking guy got laid, what did that prove? It didn't prove that his method worked, just that girls responded to good looking guys.
