"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

So I recently met a girl who would talk on the phone during dates... not only would she pick up her phone but she would MAKE calls too and not only to girls to GUYS too. Not only does that make me a little jealous, I find it disrespectful. I tried getting the message across so many ways to not to talk on the phone:
1. walked away from her
2. bltched at her "its rude to talk on cell phones during a date"
3. told her to give me back my jacket she was wearing because i was going home.
4. i told her i felt disrespected
5. i told her i felt jealous
6. i would take her phone from her

is this a girls insecurity? her way of saying "i dont like you"?

the odd part is that she kissed me and we did stuff and fooled around. she insisted on paying for me at dinners and she showed obvious interest, she wanted to go on this date more than I did... i didn't really care THAT MUCH about her but thought of it in my DJ game as a way to polish my game.

I tried a lot of shlt trying to get this girl to stay away from her phone. She eventually crossed the line after in a car ride from the movie theatre to the restaurant she spent more time MAKING PHONE CALLS to guys than talking to me, so I finally said "thats it I kind stand it im just going to take you home, no hard feelings but I'm just not going to sit here as you make phone calls to other guys. i wish there was a nicer way of saying this but im gonna give you a ride home". she continued to argue that what she did is acceptable and tried to justify and never even said sorry. after that she called ANOTHER guy and was in the process of making plans with him... by the time she was done with that phone call I decided to give her a taste of her own medicine and I pulled out my phone and dialed a close girl friend and quickly explained my situation; first thing i said was "so this girl thinks its acceptable to MAKE multiple unneeded phonecalls to the opposite sex during a date, so tell me what are you doing" she quickly caught on and we started talking about drinking with her and i called her the same "honey" "sugar mommy" type pet names she was calling other guys on the phone... just basically flirting as much as my date was with other guys on the phone. Eventually my date said "pull over, let me out im walking" and she got left like 3 mi from her car i guess it really upset her but i tried so hard to get the point across to get the fvck off her cell phone.

how can bltches be so dumb to make phone calls like that during dates? she obviously liked me but just fvcked her chances up with me beyond belief. when girls are doing something you dont like is ever a way to change that? i tried telling her, submissively, directly, playfully, nothing happend

RANT OFF

sorry sosuave just had to blow off some steam

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I hear ya.. we've all been there and soon learn quick not to tolerate this kind of disrespect and ill manners as soon as it crops up.

The girl was a bad egg, forget her - for good.

Some chicks enjoy messing guys about out.. they've got issues.. they're insecure.... they can't help it (I believe some don't know why they're even doing it)..... they're miserable.....probably hate themselves and they will remain that way... dysfunctional idiots...... be thankful she is now out of your life for good...... and she won't ever be in a relationship she's happy with. :)

Don't forget to ignore her forever more - no matter how many times she cries to you.... she's outta there!

Some of her own medicine didn't taste so good :). The purpose of the date is to enjoy her company solely and if she prefers to spend half of the date attention wh0ring herself to other guys on the cellphone, then there should be other girls to call for a date that don't do that.

I can't stand that either and I don't tolerate disrespect.

She does it because you tolerate it! She wants you to see hoe popular she is! She thinks you are a chump and does not think highly of you!

“The 22 Rules That Turned Me From Invisible to Irresistible With Women… Starting Tonight”

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.

But if you were kissing/fooling around, etc... and she was paying for the date, then wasn't she compensating for her behaviour? You had sex with her right?

Nothing compensate's for a bad behaviour especially sex.

Women use sex as a weapon to get away with bad behaviour, don't ever let a woman think that you are a slave to her pvssy and that she can get away with it.

if a chick talked on the phone on a date with me, I would consider that to be messed up. Thats probably the last date I would go on with her. But if it was an important call like her mom or dad calling I would be alright with it. But any other I would boot her ass off.

Unacceptable.

I pull out my cell phone as if somebody called and I say out loud "Yeah, I'm just here with some rude chick that talks on her cell phone the whole time, no big deal, I'll see you in 10 minutes." I usually do this right after she hangs up, but I make it known that I'm not really talking to anybody. Usually it's pretty funny, and still makes a point. You both laugh, then you tell her you have to go.

Then you drop her off and forget about the attention *****.

Thats whack my friend. That kinda sh!t should not be tolerated.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Haha! This reminds me of that one heineken commercial where the girl is talking on the phone during the date and she steals his beer when hers is empty. The guy looks at her in disbelif and awe and signals for the check! If that were me I'd excuse my self to the rest room and v line for the door! Enjoy your overage charges AND the check b*tch!

If she answers the phone I'd say thats alrite as long as the conversation is brief. Texting is disrespectful - but quite a lot do it - generally inexperienced girls who don't understand its disrespectful in my experience.

But MAKING calls is pretty bad, no matter who to. I personally would have stopped at a garage, get her to fill up your car and then drive off haha.

WAY TO GO!!!! THAT'S WHAT I LOVE TO HEAR!!!
i totally thought you was about to be an AFC about this but after reading it i like your style man...DON'T EVER cater to a rude b!tch.....when your on a date its HER AND YOU....NOT HER YOU AND HER CELL PHONE...a good girl will turn it on silent ....or keep the phone calls at a minimum

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

thanks for the responses, and yeah im a league above her. i certainly gave her the boot in an eye-for-an-eye manner.

do you guys think she was stupid?
she actually didnt like me?
just insecure?
which of those three do you think it is??? im honestly leaning towards the first.

when we were about to **** (but we didnt) she said "i dont want this to be a hook-up" seeing as how I'm a nice guy I said "okay if thats how you feel about this then I wont do anything until youre comfortable with it..." sort of implying that it would have been a hook up.. but if i was a desperate AFC I woulda said "okay" and just ****ed her anyways....

nonetheless I had another date tonight with a different girl, better looking and she only talked on the phone ONCE... to her sister for 30 seconds... then she texted once in the movie theatre. we held hands but didnt do much else.

fair play man, that is VERY disrepectful behaviour on her part. Personally, I would be ok with say a girl checking her texts once or twice if she were in the car in me. If she actually started calling people, I would be stunned! Some girls I have gone out with have made the effort to put the phone in their hand bag so that it doesn't bother us. You did the right thing, she's ****ed up in the head.
