well OP, it depends on the girl you want,

someone without a facebook is not very popular/social, whether by force or by choice.

they could have a secret to hide, they could be hated/disliked by everyone who knows them, they could hate/dislike everyone they know(holden caulfield)

any of those could be a problem, the secret could be a big deal to you, if nobody likes someone there's a reason for it, if they hate everyone not only will they be barely tolerable they probably won't like you.

or maybe they're just shy and quiet, the kinda girl who has fun by reading books in the library. is that your idea of fun? if so, you'll love her.

Whattt??? Or maybe they don't want to waist their time reading all the useless newsfeeds and got tired of seeing the umpteenth million selfie being loaded up on facebook. Most people I know that spend all their time on facebook actually have no real social life outside of it, they just stare at the screen at artificial friends.

personally I like selfies, only pretty girls like to upload them.

on any pic/status, I always make a joke comment, always, it annoys some of my facebook friends and gets laughs from the others.

but, I like other people, if you don't like other people, you hate facebook, if you do like other people, you love it

the purpose of facebook is connecting with other people, generally if you can't stand someone, unfriend them, or don't friend them in the first place, if you can't stand anyone, don't have a facebook, but if you hate everyone you know, you're not exactly social.

ok, if the entire point of social media is to be social, someone who doesn't like social media logically doesn't like being social, or isn't social, right?

can we assume people who don't do drugs don't like getting high since that's the point?

same concept, not necessarily saying that being social is good(not necessarily) or not being social is bad(not necessarily), either could be good or bad.

wow. thats a pretty ignorant assumption you made there. I know people who have no facebook, and are plenty social/"popular"(what is this, high school?) Personally, to judge someone by wether they have a facebook or not and try to pidgeonhole them as "unpopular" or anti social is absurd. Facebook didnt even exist until 9 years ago. Somehow, not sure how, but people managed to be social without it. And now people actually have these ridiculous beliefs about what it means to have/not have one. always amazed by this mentality.

yeah if facebook was really about being social, anot having over 1k friends in the list and talk with 2 or 3, social media can be nice to keep in touch with people you know but over time you or start to wonder why you did he become his friends or shows you why you don't talk with then anymore.

for females most of the case is ego boost, same for instagram, or you really think posting pics of her in a bikini or how cool is her night life being "social"?

well, she does have a facebook but it is abandoned since 2010. It seems she used it for one year and then stopped using it. Weird.

She does not have whatsapp (everybody here has it) which is very very rare. She said she does not have it because 'some people annoy her too much', whatever that means.

Anyway we went on a date today and she seems a nice girl but maybe a bit too "serious" and old-fashioned. She does not really like or use technology and does not party too much, well, she barely parties.

I do not like a heavy partier but in this case is just too little lol.

guys, my point was that not having a facebook means that you shouldn't expect a social butterfly, I can imagine you guys don't have facebooks and think I'm calling you losers, I'm not, I'm just saying that the point of social media is to be social, it's to be with people even when you're not with them.

See this, all this thing about not using whatsapp, having her facebook abandoned etc, and the fact that she told me that her mother suggested that she should go to salsa lessons 'to meet new people', makes me think that she had some big trouble with her ex-bf or something, and now she's trying to "reboot".

nope I do have it, and like I said is to keep in contact with people I know and was friend at some point,I don't even have 50 friends there and I like to keep it that way.
