"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Girls stumble when they can't see your eyes?

A few months ago, I bought these nice $150 Oakley's since I didn't have a single pair of sunglasses I could wear in public lol (got a bit of birthday $$). I had bought them because:
1.) They're athletic - if I'm playing a sport, I can wear them
2.) They look good
3.) Someone looking at me would not be able to see my eyes.

Why did I list my reasons for getting sunglasses on a DJ site? Well, reason #3 has quite a bit to do with my new theory.

I don't usually wear my sunglasses inside of school (closest I get at school is when I'm driving to and from school and at track practice), although I almost wish I could.

My theory was tested during last period today (we had a sub). Usually, I talk to these two other guys and a HB9. The girl is hot and a "good girl", which is very, very rare at my school, so I am keeping an eye on her. One of the two guys says that he saw me wearing my sunglasses as I drove into school, and the other guy (I know both of them) tried to remember how much I paid for them. So I whip out the sunglasses, in which no one can see my eyes...

..After the ooos and ahhs, and people asking if they're real, I put them on for show. Very first thing the HB9 says is that she can't see my eyes when I wear them. After that, it began to appear some of thoise kids attitudes changed as well for the rest of the period when they interacted with me.

First, the HB9, a girl who usually outsmarts me, was stumbling for words when I had the sunglasses on. Some of the other guys were teasing me good naturedly (although it was getting a little much)...that came to a screeching halt. My demeanor also changed a tiny bit. I feel I am confident (especially talking), but am improving my DJ skills, most notably kino, since it is my weakest point at the moment IMO. Now, with the sunglasses on, I became even more confident and I appeared more "in control" of things.

So what does this mean? My theory is that if a girl can't see your eyes, she feels slightly intimidated - since she cannot "read" your eyes and see where you're going next, and you assume a position of being a little more in control Of course, if you do this all the time, she will get used to it and there will be no effect.

This is just an odd thing I noticed today - may be considered a field report?? Anyway, do you think my theory is correct or is it all just in my head?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Very interesting tip TCK.
I have to say I agree with your theory.

Next time post it in the Don Juan Tips Forum.

Thanks Bluelemond.

The reason I didn't post it in the Tips forum was that I didn't know if it's "worthy" of being a tip in that forum :D. I wasn't sure if what I said could be correct or if it was just me.

Anyone have thoughts they'd like to add on this issue?
