"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I want to know what some of the other DJ's experiences have been when you found out a chick likes or has liked you.

Now, for one....I will not initiate anything with a chick I think is cute w/o and buying signals (touching, playing with hair, prolonged eye contact etc, quick glances.)

Have most of the chicks that liked you atleast shown some interest on her end first....I would hope most chicks do, since cold approaches are NOT My game.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

If you're looking for 'signs' that she likes you so you can feel comfortable approaching her, you could be wasting your time. In my experience, I can tell she likes me when she is receptive to my 'advances' (talking with her, asking her out, etc). She accepts my approach to her.
Most women seem to be good at hiding their feelings, or take a long time developing their feelings.

Well, what I meant was this:

There is this chicK I work with...lets call her Jamie.

Jamie does not seem like a shy person.

Jamie will never start a conversation with me and only talk to me unless spoken to.

Whenever I talk to Jamie she usually gives me one word responses and never elaborates.

Based on my experience and the vibe she is showing,,,this girl is not romantically interested. I therefore do not try and ask her out.

My whole point of this thread was. Maybe a girl like Jamie could be romantically interested in me, eventhough her behavior dictates she is not.

There obviously are tell tale signs.

As you mentioned, touching of hair, prolonged eye contact and moving closer etc.

But girls are often turned on by a bloke showing he's a man and coming onto them a little.

Jamie could quite easily be completely shy or dosen't want to flirt in an office enviroment, etc, etc. The only way to find out is by asking her out for a coffee or something, it dosen't have to be romantic at first.

Some girls are more obvious with their interests than others, the best way is to simply jump the gun and find out by asking them out, I know it's scary but it really is the only sure-fire way.

Just ask Jamie to come hang out with you one weekend, then you you'll have all the time in the world to find out. All you have to do is ask, and you get a yes or no.

To tell you the truth...I am not overly interested in this girl, she is just one of the Few attractive girls that work in the Hotel. Actually, I usually do not see her.

Mahon, I see what you mean. To me,she doesn't sound interested. But, as I had said earlier, if you are interested in her (and that's questionable), approach her
in a more direct way and find out if she responds. Then you'll know. It's possible she doesn't like you much, but is open to persuasion - if that's the case, it's going to take time. And that time is in a sense a 'test' as you often see mentioned around here.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

When she gives one word answers,
BE PERSISTANT
keep talking to her
keep asking her questions
keep flirting with her
keep kinoing her
keep ****y and funning her
keep eye contacting her....
keep proving to her how you are so fvcking cool and alpha

She won't be able to completely hide her feelings if she has some...she will give you a very small signal..... and that is how the shy women are like....

i think very shy women are the best ....they are reliable.... the others just like to play the game with you for their own cheap thrills

boys, if you are unsure about this girl.. it is time for you to test her by not calling her or ask questions such as if she is attracted to you romantically. this is not afc as you are being direct and asking a direct question.

being "persistent" is STUPID if the girl doesn't find you romantically attractive. this is how NICE GUYS do things. They think that by hanging around a girl, being ****y and funny, talking to her will get her to be attracted to you.
