Girls number

So I met a cool chick tonight except that I didn't have my phone to get her number. So I gave her mine which she put into her phone and called my phone so I would have her number.

Trouble is that when I did get back to my phone, there wasn't any number there. I'm thinking that she might have misunderstood me and got a digit wrong.

Now I'm going out of town all next week and she might be where I will be, so there is some time pressure to this. We also have a common friend who I think has her number.

How do I get in contact with her without sounding too eager?

Just get it off the common friend and say to her that the number didn't go through to your phone. It's better to be too eager at first and actually get a date out of her than forgetting about her and getting absolutley nothing out of it. You can back off after the first date if it goes well.

As long as you are direct, prompt, and honest, you will not sound too eager.

Eager people:

1.) Use rambling excuses and apologies
2.) Use ruses to hide their eagerness
3.) Are indirect - they hint rather than ask, for fear of appearing eager.
4.) Are indecisive: they take a while to act because they feel guilty or afraid of their action.

Sometimes when you're not even eager, if you are indirect, late, and dishonest enough you will appear eager.

Oh my god... how did you f*ck up a number exchange? Were you not watching her put your number in? Did you studder while you were saying your number? Do you have a lispt or something? Honestly it's the easiest f*cking thing in the world to verbalize your number to some one and somehow you messed that up? Your phone wasn't with you right? When that's the case you have to let it ring till it goes to voicemail. Say something clever like "my voicemail message is provocative" even if it isn't to make sure she dialed the right number. Pretty self expanitory but live and learn. I'm making mistakes with my life that are way more drastic then this.

for get about it.. seriously.. more chicks.. out there.. remember to bring ur cell.. i usally use a pen and paper anyways... cause you can write notes under the name and number... helps if u pick on several women in the same session....
