You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

Were all obsessed with our own looks around here so I figured I'd a recent experience up.

I got a chance to go back to where I grew up a few weeks ago after moving away four years ago. I still have a lot of friends around there so I was out almost every night of the week I was there. I was running into people left and right. I had a good time. I ran into some girls that I had dated, or hooked up with, as well as some that I was chasing hard. These were some pretty tight girls five or six years back. Drinking, smoking, and whoring it up really did a number on some of them.

The reason I wanted to bring this up is because girls loose it a lot quicker than guys. There is a good chance that the girl you are lusting after now will be sitting at a bar on a Tuesday night with a dead end job and her inflated ass spilling over both sides of the chair when she hits her late 20's or 30's. Be happy if your an average guy, a little bit of work and you will stay there or only move up the ladder.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I have to agree there, I'm 22 and have gone back to varsity to finish my degree and well most of the hot girls that were around when I was 16-18 have turned into useless ugly 22-24 year old desperate women with kids, b/fs and husbands and have really crap lifestyles.

I sat back and held a third persons view on things and well the whole girls are better then boys thing popped into my head. Yea I agree girls are better then boys up to a certain age, they have much better lifestyles have better grades in school and are actually much cooler then most guys. Its when they hit like 19 and they cant depend on their parents for everything that their lives take a turn and well they go downhill and many dont ever recover.

While us guys screw around when we are young and then around the same age we click into the whole "sh!t I'm wasting my life here" situation. We go back and improve ourselves like mad animals and by the time we hit our middle to late 20's most of us are very successful men.

Right now, I've gone back to gym to get my youthful body back and maybe pump it up further, I work 2 days a week and pull over 600 bucks cash while I study fulltime. While most girls around my age are going through so much sh!t its not funny, like money problems, boredom, no friends and basic clingyness when you go talk to them.

So basically its not just their looks that fade, their whole personality dies, while ours keeps getting better.

No by all means dont wait you would be stupid to wait, get them while they are hot, but drop them as soon as you get bored hell you know that in the long run your still going to be a better man while she will basically fade away into another wasted life

(damn that sounds sexist but its not)

I hope so man. I'm my past relationships I've been dumped so many times for the more alpha/taller/smarter outgoing guys that strike the iron when it's hot, ie. she gets bored of mr.nice guy. Since finding sosuave and David D, I've done a ton of self-improv work... and started getting out in the field. I hope it does get better in my late 20s because right now girls don't give me the time of day and I've had trouble meeting new babes post college. I'm a witty young blond 5'9" guy with some good muscles and optimistic attitude going, so I should be able to attract the girls with looks are fading and want to date, haha.

I will have this say as a positive note: lately older women have been much nicer and more talkative then b!tchy girls my age that give me the cold shoulder when I try to make conversation with them. I would guess if I had to bounce and get their #/e-mail before leaving they would have and not flake on the phone.

I also laugh at my ex's how their looks are beginning to fade now and pack on the weight because they chose their single man-pants careers and cats. Ya... good luck with that. They'll be the ones scrambling for a beta male when their biological clocks start ticking in a few years.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

A woman is like a good race horse.

Most race horses, note I said MOST don't fully mautre until the age of 5-6.

Some show alot more maturity for their ages. Thoose are the ones you see running in the Kentucy Derby and the Triple Crown.

however, you will Hardly ever a) see a champion horse at 3 be a champion horse at 5-6 and b) NEVER see a great 3 year old beat an above average 5-6 year old in the same class level. It just doesn't happen... well, every once in a while, but hardly ever

The women you see at 16-17 that are on top of the world.. give them 5 years. Give them 7.

Most people are to shortsighted to understand that looks, good or bad, don't last forever. Personality does.

I still won't talk to an ugly girl however

this is simple really, most women arent all that hot without hteir makeup.
as every year passes for them, they know...their beauty isnt going to last.
men improve with age...as for women..well it depends on their personality.

Next time you think you're slipping into AFC, just think of them without makeup.

A little insight into how looks change...

When I was in highschool I was more interested in sports than keeping up with the latest fashion, hairstyles and beauty products. I was cute, but didn't really put any effort into looking good. I got married at 18, when I was cute and years of abuse made me care even less about my looks. When I was 28 years old I divorced my ex husband and just blossomed. I looked better in my late 20's and even look better now at 40 than I did when I was younger. I've seen a lot of those girls I went to school with who were considered the prettiest and best catches in highschool. The vast majority of them are fat and look awful. I've also noticed that a lot of the average or plain looking girls in high school look a lot better when they get older than they did in school. It's almost like the girls who hit their prime in highschool go down hill fast once school it out, and the ones who were plain, awkward and even below average end up hitting their prime later in life and looking great.

I guess the moral of this story is...if you know a girl who is a little plain or average with a really great personality...she's probably going to look great when she gets older, so don't write her off.

hey cool thread. it's funny cause on march break i went back to the old town to see my parents. anyways me and my gal went to the bar that night and she was jam packed with alot of people i hadn't seen in ages. and boy time has not been good to any of them.

alot of the top 10 girls back in the day would not even break the top 1,000,0000. what happened? these were the girls every guy had dreams about.
i banged into a few of them and they just had drab stories and the funny thing is they still acted like they were hot hanging off every guy that walked by. i introduced my little cutie and they rolled there eyes.

i even seen some of my exs and geez how lucky am i to escaped when i did.
they weren't what i seen in my daydreams back in the day. all of them were not on the milf list. sometimes when a relationship doesn't work out and you look at a night like that night of seeing everyone. i am truly a lucky man.

your first post on this thread was the most retarded thing Ive ever seen

"girls are better than boys"?

"boys are actually better"?

"at 19 all girls lives go downhill"?

"most men go and improve themselves and become succesful"?

"girls personality fades while ours keeps getting better"???

What a steaming pile of molten horse sh*t!

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I agree, personality matters more than looks, especially if I come back home drunk with both my arms around 2 hot 21 year old girls who want to play hide the salami with me.

I ran into my homecoming queen at the grocery store. She still looks good for a 30 y/o, works as a physical trainer, but I was not interested, despite her obvious interest in me. Maybe it's because I remember what that body used to look like. In high school I was her escort at some homecoming thing for football, and at the time I thought I was priviledged to touch her arm, probably because she had no interest in me. But today it is exactly the opposite. Men want looks, and women peak at a young age. Women want money/power, and men peak at a much older age.

I tend to agree with you, most educated girls in universities spend their Spring Break vacation on reading books and cleaning their dorm rooms. They would never plan on heading off to some sunny beach to show off their tits and ass to some random stranger. I also date ugly and fat women because they'd never wish they were attractive to get all that sexual lust from men.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Sad, but true. And by true, I mean literally true.

I had to laugh (and stare) at this sentence because recently I was in bar and ran into a girl who I've had a crush on for a few years. It was a Tuesday night. She's now 28. She's in a dead end job, still trying to find her niche in the entertainment business (years after graduating college). She was smoking and her widening ass was filling the seat. I still like her and everything but it's slowly getting harder to get aroused by the thought of her.

Sad, but true.

I can say from my personal experiences, this tends to be true. Go to your high school reunions, they are worth it for comic relief. Many women and men don't really blossem, looks wise, until later in their 20's or even 30s. I've seen plain janes turn into models.

Looks are subjective anyway. Most people, I find, have their perceptions of beauty strongly influenced by the media and their peer groups. Looking at photos of the "hotties" I knew in high school many seemed just cute, or kinda pretty, to me now. Also some of the girls I remembers as plain look a bit more than plain when I look at their old photos. The TYPE of woman I thought was hot 10 years ago now barely turns me on.

A good deal of beauty is feeling comfortable in one's skin, and HOW to display one's pleasing features.
This is the case for guys as well, lest the posters on this thread be deluded.

Keep in mind that a lot girls and guys who "lost their magic" still have residual confidence. They still remember their "glory days" where they "ruled the school" and it always serves as an ego boost. Meanwhile, some of the guys that went from "dork to stud" and the girls that went from "not to hot" are still doubting themselves because they remember those years where they were either ridiculed, rejected, or marginalized. Not matter how great they become, they still only think about their flaws. This insecurity explains why a lot of guys and girls still have crushes on people who they far surpassed in looks/personality.

I used to be a pretty skinny dude, but in college I decided to work out and I was able to bulk up pretty nicely by the time I graduated. However, even at 170 pounds of solid muscle, I still eat alone almost every day.

what it really comes down to is girls, and even to some extent guys, thinking that their metoblism is goign to be the same as it was when it was 17 for the rest of their lives.. next thing you know you stack on 50 pounds and don't know how to get it off because you have never been "fat before"

I know i had that problem. I was up to 215! and I was 135 in high school that's 80 freakin pounds.

I had to seriously learn about health, work out every day, eat right.. glad to say I got down to 167, weighted today, which is perfect for my size, as i was too skinny in high school

It has nothing to do with "*****ing" or the "party lifestlyle" per say, it's just you taking care of your body, something 95% of america doesn't do

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
