There's this girl I knew for some time and wanted to ask her out. About a week ago I'm going to school and there she is with another guy chatting, laughing.

I started some fluff talk with her, but then she kinda started paying attention to the other guy so I backed off and was walking in front of her. The guy asks - who's this? She's like: "Acquaintance I don't really like" And I can hear them distinctly. roflmao

So anyways - they had to go different sides, and I went her side. A bit of chit chat, then:

I'm throwing a party at **** ******, wanna come? (doesn't hurt to ask)
She: sure!

lol THAT WAS UNEXPECTED! Maybe Im in the LJBF zone, but still. She "does not really like me"...

What say you people?

BTW: her friend has/had a huge crush on me, and their whole wittle hangout group think I'm cool and funny

A lot of people here read w/o replying. Its annoying, yes, but there's not much that can be done about it. Anyway, when she said that you were an acquaintance that she didn't like, that was the point where you'd next her. Even if she was lying, she was committing Sluttery in the 1st Degree. She tries to distance herself from each man she talks to so she can talk to another. She may have been interested in you but the only thing I'd do in your situation is just to tap that ass the first night you did anything and if she didn't give it up, toss her ass to the curb. She may not have been interested in you and just wanted to use you for the party connection.

"Ooh, a party. I bet there will be some hot guys there."

^ This is probably what she is thinking if she's not interested in you but still accepts the invite to the party. My advice is to take her out, try to tap that puzz and if she doesn't give it up in a short time, ditch her. No girl ever says that about another man if she was interested in him. She didn't do it because she knew you were ahead of her. Most girls seem almost tunnelvisioned with other people. They concentrate on the person they're talking to and rarely anything else.
