Girls and their mind-games

I have had some girls giving me the mind games in the past but I really think this is onto new levels.

A bit of back-ground first. Basically I have been very close friends with the girl in question for over half a year now. We go to town together, eat together, go on nights out drinking together (often just me and her) and if we aren't physically together we're often talking on msn or texting each other etc etc. It's normally her that asks me to come out with her although sometimes it's the other way round. Before anyone suggests it, I am not an idiot, I don't pay for all her stuff (more her paying for me) and I am not some emotional tampon that she vents every problem she's ever had at. I mean yes I have spoken to her about her ex boyfriend once but believe me I have been used as the emotional tampon before and this is not the same.

Anyway, tonight she had a few drinks and was talking to me on msn and saying I couldn't get girls, in a joking kind of way. I said to her that most girl's would be very lucky to be with me. Now that was not some pathetic game trick to fake confidence but whilst I know I'm not Bradd Pitt, I think I'm a reasonably attractive guy, I'm confident, funny, generous but at the same time don't take **** off people, and as long as everything goes according to plan will lead a pretty nice life, hopefully! She then replies that I am a "minger", admitedly then saying she was joking. I couldn't believe she said it in the first place and she never said she was joking to start with. She then went on to want to know how I thought she looked, and how attractive I thought she was. I refused to answer saying I don't think of her in *that* way and because she is very nice looking girl there was no way I was going to boost her ego any more.

She got drunk and we got in the taxi and she leant over to her friend, attempting to whisper to him and said "don't worry I'm not going out with him" (meaning me) and called me a "fat bastard." I am overweight and am very much in the process of sorting that out which she is well aware of and has never made a joke about before, but at the same time I'm not obsese or anything, I could just do with losing a couple of stone. The thing is she never said any of that to me, but to her mate, and the only reason I know what she said was because she was drunk and speaking loudly.

We get into town and she is all over this friend of hers she was talking to in the taxi. Then occaisonally she'd put her arm round me and try and dance with me and rub against me etc etc.

On other occaisons I've been in town with her and taken her to meet my friends who have asked if we're together and she's stayed silent and it's been me who has said that we aren't and are just friends.

She often tells he how I can't dance and couldn't get a girl etc etc etc.

I have my own idea over what her actions and words mean but I don't know all the answers and would like as many people as possible to give their opinions and what this means. After all this site is about helping each other and I can normally (thanks to this site) read girl's and their actions quite well but it never hurts to have a second opinion so if anyone here can reply with what they think is going on then it would be much appreciated.

What type of a “friend” is she to insult you and what type of a “man” are you to take ANY insult? I wound NEVER take that sh*t from anyone.

Umm I dont care how long you've been friends with this chick but I wouldnt have taken any of that bullsh!t, I woulda called her out on that crap then walked off and danced with some other girls and gamed them.

Another fine example of how chicks never ever make any sort of reasonable friend, yea for the first 2 years they seem sweet to hang out with but after that the bit(h comes out to play. I reckon for them they hit a point where they start to think of you as a loser and try and push you away (like your chick mate is doing), or they call you out on why you have never tried to get into her pants.

Remember all girls like knowing that a guy wants to get into their pants, it stuns them when they get put in the friends zone by you, then they either bit(h you out or go afc and want you to ask them out.

So really guys girls do not ever make good friends it always ends up either of the two ways I just told you about.

She has LJBF'd him for over half a year because she is secretly playing hard-to-get. But after that didn't work, she tried negging him down to her level as a last-ditch effort.

Here's the thing kid, if a girl actually wants you...she wastes no time sitting on the pot for 6 months without taking a shyt. Girls who do that only want your attention and validation. They'll tease & push-pull you for months or even years...but nothing will ever actually happen. And the more you put up with that, the less she respects you.

To be honest I was annoyed at the time I posted it and maybe took it out of context, she was horrificly drunk and was very apologetic about it this morning, not just to me but to other people she has insulted.

I am well aware of girls who are bytches and know how they act and believe me if she made a regular habit of this then I wouldn't be anywhere near her.

And for people saying I should have told her to do one and left, that is exactly what I did.

And I posted this wondering if anyone had any insight into it, I never said it was all one huge mind game, and for reference she never LJBFed me either, she had a boyfriend when I met her and no longer does, I was perfectly happy to be friends with her and to be honest never wanted much more.

Over the past one or two months there have been reasons to believe she's interested by the way she acts, I can't be bothered to go into that now anyway.

Nothing is going to happen, I am meeting a HB7 next week anyway so I am just going to forget this whole stupid thing. She is a great girl to have as a friend and dosen't make a habit of behaving the way she did last night, everyone deserves a second chance, I have acted like a c*nt myself enough times.

And for the guy who quoted me being overweight in contradiction with me being "reasonably attractive," I think it's perfectly possible to be reasonably attractive and still be a bit overweight. I'm in the process of losing the weight anyway but I don't think it automaticly makes me unattractive because I am a couple stone too heavy.
