"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

im 16 and it goes like this...

Almost 95% of the time when i meet a new girl(not ugly) i talk to them and make them laugh. I dont act like and AFC or a jerk i just let it flow. when i talk to them for a short while they still are attracted to me. then after another short time ..they start to act shy and intimidated. i also catch them looking at me when i see them. Then in a joking tone i say something about what they are gonig and they laugh and say 'oh i didnt know hehe" but they still do it and sometimes walk past me and try to act like they didnt see me. (not in a mean way tho)

i can tell they are shy and intimidated whenever they are around me but when they are talking to other people they are loud and fearless.

Does anybody know why they become intimidated and shy only around me and is that a good or a bad thing?

Stanks

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Ask them out on a date and then you'll know.

Its a good thing.

Means they like you.

Same thing happened to me and the girl really really liked me so I know. :D

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

It's very simple. Happens to me on occasion, I have a girl at work that is the exact same way.

She's attracted to you but thinks you're value is higher than hers. Because she thinks your value is higher she's naturally more tentative and unsure about what to do around you as to not "make a mistake"

she probably just "doesn't knwo what to say"

Girls are guys are very similar, really, they have their differences but it's not like we are 100% and completely alien. Emotions are real, we share them but express them differently. Social situations and social interactions carry different but definite contexts, expectations, and pressures. People react to different sitautions by withdrawing or getting defensive if they are unaware of what to do or not experienced.

My advice? You need to keep talking to these girls and make them feel more comfortable over time and eventually they will warm up to you. You have some good natural game going on so keep it up, people won’t usually just LOVE you the SECOND they meet you (and if they do usually they are F’in crazy or socially starved)...or want to hang out and be friends. Give it time, keep working your stuff man.
