girlfriend wont give me key to her apt why???

ok she gave me the key before...recently she changed her locks (not because of me) then when i asked her for the key she said its better if she does not give me the key because i do not spend to much time with her...i work and spend weekends with her i mean why wont she give me the key could she be cheating ???not trust me ??? any input will help :confused:

Because her interest level has declined...

My guess is...your spending too much time with her, you show needy behavior, and shes beginning to look for a way out of the relationship. WHY IN THE HE11 you have keys in the first place is beyond me.....stupid. Dont move in with a girl or get keys to her place unless your engaged to her.

Now....as I said, shes looking for a way out. So if you act insecure or p1ssed off over this....thats exactly what shes going to do....dump your a$$. My advice would be to act unphased. Who cares if you dont have keys to her apartment pal?? You have keys to your own apt still correct? And she still lives at her apt so if you want to visit there is this thing called a "door" which she can open.

Act like you dont give a sh1t about the key thing and REFOCUS yourself from your girl ----> Your life goals.

It's not necessarily that she's cheating, but it definitely is that she thinks you're getting too clingy and she's trying to distance herself from you.

I'd say that there's a 75% chance that she just breaks up with you sometime in the next few months. And there's a 25% chance that you can save this by distancing yourself from her and pursuing other interests for your own benefit.

Basically - become a new man, FIRST for yourself and SECOND because it'll make her see you in a different, less boring light.

It's not your apartment. She's perfectly entitled to determine who is allowed to have a spare key to her home. You don't pay rent, you're not entitled to a key. She's also allowed to decide that you shouldn't have a key to a new lock. What do you need a key to her place for? You should have your own home.
