So I've been with this girl for around a year now. We get into a fight the other day because I get a call from a blocked number, which she assumed was a girl(I didn't get to the phone fast enough to answer).

Then she started totally freaking out and said that she wished she was still with her ex boyfriend. I guess they had a pretty long and serious relationship, although he sounds like a bit of a loser to me.

Afterwards she said she didn't mean it that way and she just wished i didn't get phone calls like he never did.

Now I've found out that her ex has been trying to contact her, although she hasn't had any contact with him....yet.

Your opinions? I'm considering dumping her because things seem to be heading towards the ****ter.

Why the hell is she freaking out over a blocked number call? Red Flag right there.

Mentioning her ex who still seems to be into her and how she wish she was with him? Red Flag

You can find better girls who don't have trust issues and still think about their ex. Her being so mistrustful might be because of her having her own shady mindset.

Thing is . . . didn't telemarketing scams or international calling exist when she was dating this other guy? Seriously, did she check every last single call on this guy's phone while she was dating him and correlate it with an "allowed" caller?

Go ahead. Ask her if she did that. The answer is, of course not. The reason being, she wasn't constantly hunting and hunting for things to accuse him of. She only does that for you. Doesn't that make you feel special?

Let me guess: he dumped her?

But did you realize that her ex had been in touch with her recently? Why else would she bring up the ex so readily?

Perhaps she had considered going back at some point? Either way, she has some unresolved ex-issues and our bud here is paying the price. Would it be a surprise if her ex did something similar with not answering a phone call because he had been cheating on her? :whistle:

This is the CLASSIC, I'm gonna accuse you of cheating move so that I can break up with you and move on to the guy I've been cheating on you with. (or about to start fvcking again). Chicks do this all the time. Its one of their old stand by's, which has gotten replaced by the overt branch swinging alot of the time as they've gotten bolder.

I guarantee it. I would dump her first, then cut off all contact. That will drive her nuts, whatever you do, don't give in.

You know its already going downhill, why drag it out, if you leave now, you'll feel so much better and move on that much easier.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

no disrespect....it blows me away when guys come here like this and are surprised after a year that there relationship isn't near what it could be.

If I had heard this, she instantly would be demoted to fvck buddy when I'm horny status. Emotional ties would instantly be severed.

I know, I know, easier said than done, but I will not allow myself to be played like a chump, no matter how hot she is and no matter how much it hurts.

been in ur shoes. my ex cried while looking at his facebook. which she logged on her friends account to see. then swore she had no feelings for him but just wished he was happy and it made her sad he wasnt. 3 week after i dumped her she was not only ****ing him and dating him but they were "back" in love.

my advice...get the **** out of dodge.
