"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

OK. I didn't get any replies with my original thread so I'm going to rephrase and repost. I figure I wasn't specific enough.

---

Intro:

I'm 19, and I've known this 18 y/o chick for about 2 months now. A female friend introduced me to her and we've been becoming increasingly better friends.

Signs of attrac.:

I'm never quick to assume that a girl likes me. Never. I would doubt and doubt and doubt over and over again. But after weeding out the subtle signs, etc, I've come to the conclusion that she MIGHT like me. She attempts to see me 1 on 1 (granted only once - but that's since we've become closer), and when we do, she leans into me and holds eye contact, etc to a point where I detect her open-body-language and start interpreting it as a sign of attraction. She also displays closed-body-language to those who happen to be around her, further solidifying my belief that she might like me.

I can go more in depth if necessary. But this is beside the point so I'll leave it at that.

MY ACTUAL SITUATION:
The past few days, she's been asking me who I like. This is obviously not something new to me, or to anyone for that matter. But what makes her unique is that she just won't freakin' give up. You would expect someone to either forget or give up over the course of a few days, but she just won't!.. to a point where she's refusing to talk to me until I tell her. (Obviously she isn't exactly holding up to her word, as she IS talking to me.. telling me that she won't talk to me.......)

Now you're thinking.. OK.. so she's just really stubborn or really nosey.. That's exactly what I would think too, but consider this:

The same female friend who introduced me to her came up to me and was like, "You like her. I know you do. It's pretty damn obvious. Don't you?"

I gave some ambiguous response that could be open to many interpretations. This friend has left me alone about who I like, much to my relief.

If it's so obvoius that my friend thinks I liek her, wouldn't it be obvious to the girl who is incessantly asking me who I like, as well?

My friends think that this is just her way of saying "hurry up and ask me out already." Should I believe them? And even if it does mean that, how the hell would I ask her out if she refuses to talk to me until I tell her who I like?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Bump because I revised/edited my post. I figured the reason I didn't get any replies is because I had only posted a mere 3 lines.

No I'm thinking its just the usual 18 year old chick drivel, and instead of shrugging it off and giving a smart ass response you gave it meaning and substance. You say you gave an "ambiguous" response but I doubt thats congruent with the rest of your behaviour if shes actually ignoring you. Shes baited you into entering her reality and now shes directing where sh!t goes and pulling the puppet strings. Go read the Bible.

No. You have it mixed up.

Let's clarify:
My friend: X
My crush: Y

I gave the ambiguous response to X, who asked me if I like Y. The only reason I gave this response to X is because she would definitely tell Y if given the opportunity. I want to ask Y out myself; not get hooked up by some girl.

Y is not ACTUALLY ignoring me. She just says she will if I don't tell her. And she doesn't seem to be following through with it. Granted everything that comes out of her mouth is "who is it."

Because I've had a few female friends in the past who were absolute teases. I can't trust any of the "signs of attraction" anymore. Unless they're explicit. Like in this case. I would hope.

Girl X ,girl Y, its all the same, why are you getting caught up in all their hype? who cares?

Make a move on the chick you like and be done with it, if shes going to play chick games and not talk to you then its time to pull her off the top and rotate her down the bottom until she pulls her head in. I know it sounds like I'm harping on about it but you really are entertaining her reality, not only are you contributing to it, your rewarding her for her nonsense.

Btw your almost a man, its time to strike "my crush" from your vocabulary.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

lol. i'm so embarassed. i never actually use that in real life - coudln't really think of an alternative here. from this point on i shall refer to her as my "potential significant other," or more concisely, "PSO." or just refer to as Y. Yeah, that sounds better.

Anyway, thanks. I think you're 100% right. The only thing holding me back was the fact that X and Y are both really good friends, and I just happend to find Y attractive. I know Y isn't completely serious with her chick games - I know her and she'd never actually do stuff like that. I'm just not going to take it anymore and simply ask her out. (easier said than done). Oh well. I guess I was stupid for thinking that it was her way of saying "hurry up and ask me out because its pretty obvious you like me."

Your not stupid, but her way or not is irrelevant. You should have made a move because its YOUR way of showing your interested.

Your time would be more productive flushing your head in the toilet than trying to decipher what teenage chicks SAY anyway.

Why is it easier said than done? This chick has you out-smarting yourself. Don't think about it, just do it.

Agreed. They can't even decipher their own girlspeak.
