That's why I asked if saying that would give my power away. To be all fair if I had sent a text saying something like "F**K OFF you wasted my time, etc.", I think that's too over the top and taking the scenario too far.

I had a girl say something like this to me a couple of months ago. We got chatting, I got her number and I liked her, but I was still hurting from my break up and not ready to pursue anything at that time.

She sent me an angry text accusing me of wasting her time. The way I looked at it, we hadn't even been on a date and she's already getting ratty with me. Instant red flag there, so I deleted her number without saying another word.

If she'd said nothing or just been cool, I might've contacted her by now and asked her out.
