Brief: Long story short, a girl told me she liked me, but then she said her parents aren't allowing her to date.

This girl is 14 (freshman) and I'm 17 (junior). She started giving me really obvious hints (feet pointed at me, chats/texts me everyday, always says hi when I walk near her). I decided that I wasn't going to screw up this time so I got her number.

She dated someone (another freshman) for about 2 weeks in september, but nothing happened with them and her mom made her break up with him.

So one day she sends me a chat that says something like "i feel bad about this but my mom said that I'm not allowed to date anyone until I'm 16."

At this point I thought she was lying and not interested because she had dated someone else, but she still gives me signals. She still chats me everyday and sends an occasional text. We sit next to each other in the 1 class we have together.

I asked her to get lunch w/ me 1 day and she says she doesnt have many lunch periods free, but when she gets one, she will tell me. I thought this was fine since she counteroffered.

Then I asked her to hang out over spring break. At first she said yes and seemed really excited, but then she sent me a text: "what do you see us as? cuz i see us a friends."

So she keeps saying she wants to be friends and i kinda gave her the idea i did too (bad on my part)

We go back to school on monday which is going to be the first time I've seen her in a couple weeks (since we've been on spring break). How should I react/speak to her? Should I go NC?

Focus on other chicks. Even if you manage to get through, she wont really be worth the hassle.
If you dont care about your friendship, then just go sexual with her when you see her.

I was thinking the same thing. Just from what I'm noticing, it seems like she doesn't want to budge.

Sorry for the double post. I was talking to someone else and they gave me some advice quite different from yours.

This is what my friend said
1) Do not go out of way to talk to her. If she says hello, then say hey, but then leave.
2) Stop sitting next to her and stay away talking with her during class
3) Talk to her online/via text if its relevant to school

What do you think of this method?

Its like a mix of what you usually do and NC. I'd rather go NC, and step 3 is definately a no no.
But again, dont focus on going NC on her.
Focus on other chicks, which will lead to NC.

Well today I started not focusing on her and everything was going well until the end of the day. I didn't see her at all until we had class together in the afternoon.

I didn't sit next to her like I normally do and when class started, she went "wait, I don't want to sit by myself." I felt kinda bad, but whatever.

I didn't make any eye/verbal contact at all but my friend told me she was looking at be quite a bit.

Anyway, I was walking to my free and she's coming the other way. I look at her, but don't say anything. She started the conversation with

Her: Are we not friends anymore?
Me: What would lead you to ask that?
Her: Well you didn't sit next to me in class. You moved away from me when I sat down.
Me: I was never sitting there...I was only there because I was watching Max's video.

Then she frowned, put her head down, and walked away.

Thoughts?

Tell her you'd like to see her as more than friends, say she doesn't have to tell her parents. You'll work something out...

I didn't have class with her today. I didn't even see her until I was leaving. We made eye contact for a split second and then I kept walking...I have class with her for the rest of the week so we'll see how it goes.
