"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Girl smiled at me and then flaked out when I approached her.

I was at a bar the other night in Boston and a decent looking college chick made eye contact with me and smiled on two occassions. I figured she liked what she saw and I had to do an approach?

There was only one problem, she was with her female friend. Anyways, I grew a pair and approached where they were sitting when I came out of the bathroom.

The whole time seemed awkward and she acted indifferent and uninterested the whole time. Have this ever happened to anyone of you? Did this happen because her friend was there?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

This happens all of the time. My suggestion is not to try to figure it out. Move on the the next girl.

Mahon:

The important thing, like you said, was that you grew some balls and did the approach. You took the chance, got the results, however disappointing. Otherwise, when you'd be driving home later on, it'd nag you not know what "could've been". Good work.

You never know what runs through their minds. I don't feel awkward anymore after getting shot down. The closest thing to a feeling that I get is "giddyness" after a shutdown. Mostly from my experience is the "friend " will usually give some distance once she knows that the other is getting the "game" or however way you want to put it. Your target could've been shy, maybe a bit embarassed(due to friend), or even making you work even harder for your interest. Personally, it's too much expended energy to try to analyse this stuff after the fact. You know why? Because it can be self defeating.

Next time it's gonna get easier and easier.

You 'staled out' when a woman gives you buying signals, you have a set period of time before she thinks you are a punk. If you do not approach within that tme period, you are disqualified. Women like balls and spontaneity. If she sees you sitting around trying to sum up the courage to approach her she will think you are a loser.

She had gas. A minute before you approached she got the news grandma died. She just got her period. Amnesia. Her boyfriend walked in. You took 3.1 seconds to approach, therefor violating the 3 second rule and you were banished to loserville forever.
God spoke while you were taking a leak and, not knowing, your effort to pick up a girl at the moment everyone else was in deep reflection seemed all out of whack.

Who knows? So what? If it happenes every time you do it, then maybe we have something to talk about here.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

She was afraid that you hadn't washed your hands.

By saying you "grew a pair" it hints that you were nervous but just done it anyway GOOD WORK.

But BUT yep there is always a but, women can easily tell when your nervous and it's a huge turn off. As soon as you approach her she smells the stench of nervousness and she's like "ewwwww go away I WANT A MAN not a scared little boy"

The secret is approach so much that you get over your fear of approaching. Then your nervousness will dissipate and the ladies will be all over you.

KILL THAT NERVOUSNESS!!!!!!!!!
