"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Hi.

Some months ago I dated a girl for 3 months.
She told me that she had been talking to her ex-bf (she broke up with him 2 years ago) from time to time before she met me. Well, she said that she was meeting him ocasionally until our forth or fifth date.
She told me that they went for lunch maybe once a month, they emailed each other some times etc.
BUT that she never ever kissed him again or anything, that she just wanted his friendship.

I dont know if she's lying or what. I find it very weird that you keep seing your ex for TWO years, 'from time to time'.

On the other hand, I have a girl friend of a friend that she dumped her boyfriend but they remain friends, they talk, email, but I'm not sure if they meet for 'lunch', I mean, I dont know if they meet just the two of them without any other friends.

What do you think? is it possible to do what this chick tells me?

P.S.

This chick lied to me in some other things durint this three months...

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I must say, It's really hard to trust most especially if an "ex" is involved, yet give her a benefit of a doubt and let her actions speaks for herself because sooner or later you will find out the truth if everything that she said is a big lie or she just want nothing but friendship with her "ex".

Bro, I actually just read a thread of yours from 2 months ago yesterday where you addressed this very topic and got amazing advice.

Read Danger's, Vatoloco's and whoever else agrees with them comments again. There is no need for me to repeat them:

http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=195331

To sum it up:

Danger said:
As long as one party has fvked, or wants to fvk the other. It is a date. At least in my eyes.

If there is one thing that comes first for me, it is self-respect. I would not be able to respect myself if I knew my girl was out on a date with a man that fvked her, or wanted to fvk her.

And I honestly don't believe she should respect me either were I to allow that behavior.

She *knows* the guy wants to fvk her.
She *knows* it is disrespectful to me and our relationship.
She *knows* it is unacceptable, but she will push for it anyways if her IL is not high enough in her man.

Bottom line, if I don't like the behavior, the precedent, or if it smells of disrespect, it is a no go for me. And if she doesn't like it, she is free to date other men. But I will be true to myself and my desires.

She may do it behind my back, but she also may be fvking other men behind my back. If that is the case, she will also leave. But I will *never agree* to behavior that disrespects me, or our relationship. That is complete death for any kind of desire. She will not desire you more for not being jealous. She will desire you less for not having the balls to stand up to her desire to disrespect you.

Setting boundaries does not entice women to leave you. It is precisely the lack of boundaries (or a spine) that make women believe a man to be weak.

I have traveled both roads on this issue. I know what has worked for me and what hasn't regarding this exact situation. I have experienced being the boyfriend, and being the "lunch date". I have plenty of scars, and have inflicted plenty as well, as a result of my history with such events. Take what advice you will from it.
If you can't take a hard stance like that and be willing to walk away when a woman disrespects you, you are not a DJ and you are not a man.
