Last saturday I saw a chick who was having fun flirting with me and she reminded me of myself. I got the number but didn't get no info.

My friend says that she came out of a 5 year LTR. Should make it pretty easy. All I have to do is be better than the last guy.

I guess the pitfalls are the same as with any chick. Is there anything I need to keep in mind?
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Don't, I mean DON'T ever talk about her ex! Stay away! Except from being the rebound guy she is also looking for an emotional tampon! Don't fall for this! Other than that it's a normal chick who just got out of a 5years LTR, don't push it, don't rush things, be cool and things will work your way I think!

She's the same as every other chick. We all have breakups. We all have ex's. There's no reason for you to treat her differently than anyone else. That "be better than the ex" thing is baloney too.

You don't gotta be better than anyone. You just have to be fun.
