Girl looking for good advice

Im a girl and Im not quit sure whether my question belongs here but I resently met a guy online and we got on really well on the first chat and agreed to talk on skype the following day since we both live far away from each other. I was excited to talk to him and was relaxed since i thought my mum was on a mission trip and wasnt going to be home. Nevertheless she came back and i was afraid of talking to him while she was at home since she would overhear the conversation. So I sadly had to cancel him. I could tell that he was sad as well and was waiting for a response from me, but I just couldnt reply cause i had been looking foward for a face to face conversation and since i told him that i got a spontanious visit i felt it would be a bit awkward when we would continue chattin to each other via skype. Nevertheless I did write to him the next day and expressed myself to him briefly. My mum is still around for a while and im torn apart since i dared to google his name and found his fb profile allthough he had told me that he wasnt at fb. When i found that out i felt like i could never approach him again because i just know to much about him. Could someone give me a good advice on what to do?

Only way to get to know him is to talk and hang with him...Tell him the truth: You were ready to rap with him but suddenly you weren't alone and couldn't chat. Let him know you still want to hang out and go do it. Can't learn sh*t about a person, male or female, from internet nonsense...

Sounds like your still in high school and possibly a virgin. Why are you establishing a distant relationship over the internet? You dont really know whether this person is real or not, or possibly some nut job. Get out while you still can and talk with real people!
