"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

This is OLD news at this point but was thinking back. Had this girl that liked me (INFATUATED) but wouldn't do anything to break up with her boyfriend... I'm guessing because she wasn't sure if I liked her back. (EDIT: Although I did like her, I reined in my interest like a DJ... yet not in an attempt to be one in this situation. But despite that, I often saw her and her friends almost everyday and it was no secret she liked me... with all that exposure including going to bars, doing homework together, etc. I'm sure that somehow my interest in her leaked out at several points. Enough so that I think she should have been able to confidently break up with her guy to free herself up.)

I just really hate to get involved with a girl that has someone already. While I'm at peace withwith my decision, I'm just curious if there is in general a Don Juan reason why not to get involved with a girl in a relationship (no matter how much she likes you)?

EDIT: btw I got to know this boyfriend and I consider him a friend. A total gentleman and one of the nicest guys I've ever met, yet very funny and uninhibited.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

The only "dj reason" you wouldn't want to get caught up with a girl who already was in another relationship is that it calls her loyalty into question. Does it bother you that some guy (you) was able to 'steal' her away with a little push/pull and kino? Try to ignore the fact that it was YOU stealing it from some AFC, tomorrow you might be the afc. Again, if you're comfortable with the way it went down then there's no problem.

Morally, on the other hand, there's a big problem. the guy was your friend. That is the #1 no-no in this game! bro's before ho's a$$hole.

ok, thanks for the response. Well I'm just glad this is in the past now... it became a rather stressful situation because I had so much contact with him, her and our mutual friends and had to deal with this nearly every single day.
