Girl in my class with an AFC orbiter

I met a girl in class two weeks ago. Talked to her for a few minutes, teased her a bit, could notice she was flirting back, but didn't escalate. Then last week, I was kind of tired so I just went to class and ignored most people. I noticed she was trying to make eye contact with me and kept walking by (you guys know what I'm talking about).

This week, I get into class and she's in my normal seat. So I figure I will sit next to her and flirt a little. In walks this AFC guy who I've seen trying to talk to her and grabs the seat next to her. I sit behind her. The whole class he is looking at her and making dumb jokes (she's laughing though). Prof asks us to group up for an in-class simulation so I invite myself into their "team". I kind of stay quiet and listen to this douchy-guy and his lack of game.

So I back off a bit and she keeps turning around and asking me questions about the assignment. I'm way more confident than this guy so I hold eye contact each time until she looks away - she always smiles though. I flirt a little and neg her a bit. She keeps half-looking back at me through her peripheral vision and keeps messing with her hair and readjusting her top (and bra). At the end of class, I just get up to leave (AFC is still talking to her). We lock eyes for a second and I smile at her on the way out.

I'm thinking if I'm going to get anything rolling with this chick I'm going to have to tear her away from this dummy. Problem is that he is constantly all over her. Any ideas on how to get her by herself? I'm obviously not in a rush but I want to get her number ASAP so I can get together with her outside class (or find out if she's not interested).

Grab her number right in front of him. If he's as AFC as you say he is he'll probably just sit there dumbfounded. You need to do it soon though because if the AFC makes a move before you and she accepts then you'll be the one looking silly. Dont underestimate the competition.

Agreed. Do it right in front of him if he is stuck to her like flypaper. But...in the event things go south (you never know what's in a girl's mind) and she says no to you, be prepared to take it like a Champion-Don-Juan-Mudderfaqqua! Smile and say "cool, I'll see you around class" and jet.

Very easy and simple solution.

When he tries to talk to her, put him in a wristlock. You want to do this quickly and effortlessly, hopefully without any resistance. This will clearly show that you are alpha and in control.

He will probably protest at this. This is when you take his @$$ down so that he is lying sprawled on the ground. It's ok to cause a little pain, but not so much so that it makes you seem vicious. Make sure you tell him how fwcking stupid his jokes were. The girl will obviously be very wet for you at this point.

Your goal is to get him to submit to you. Once you make sure he is utterly defenseless and can do NOTHING to resist you, this is when you pull out your gun and put three in the back of his head. It's VERY important that you do this, as it shows you weren't kidding. Then proceed to go back to the girl and PIITB

^^ it was obviously a joke, Sage likes to joke Larry. I always wondered about this, there are orbiters around every decent looking girl and I can't tell if they are boyfriend or orbiter so it seems difficult to make the approach.

Put your arm around her so that it is over her shoulder. This is a sign of dominance; she is likely to feel more close to you as it's more intimate kino. I would disarm the orbiter with some humor. If she gives you her number, do the following: put your arm around her as suggested & then whisper in her ear "so for our wedding next week: I'm planning on releasing 237 swans and then have a snowball fight towards the end before cutting the cake and drinking cocoa" or something so obviously crazy that she understands you're kidding. When she smiles/laughs, give her a grin(with your arm still around her) & then look at the orbiter straight in the eye before saying "sup, buddy?" This is an example of a meta message--a message above the message. In a primal way, you are saying (is an unspoken way) "this is conquered territory, move elsewhere."

how do you know he is an AFC? just because he is always around her? they could have some chemistry going on and he could actually know what he is doing if she is responding...i have lost out to guys giving the girl more frequent attention many times....it's just not my style to hover and never has been...but sometimes that can actually hurt you...

I walk into class downtown last night. Girl is sitting in my general area again. She looks up at me and smiles.

I walk over and say hey to her and the ever-present AFC guy, get settled and she leans back and asked me how my week was. The IOIs are pouring out at this point (smiling, eye contact, leaning in). Class starts and an hour later we get a break. I had to make a phone call, so I run outside. I come back in and there's the girl (Sara), two other girls, and two guys (one the AFC) sitting at a lounge table outside of the classroom drinking coffee and talking. I say to myself "ok dummy - it's time to man up and do this."

I walk up to the group, reach out my hand motion a "come here movement".

Me: (boldly interrupting the AFC guy) Sara - come here for a minute
Sara: OK
Others: (nobody talks but they are all staring at me)

She gets up, I take her hand, move her a few feet away but within earshot of the group. They are all quiet, listening in.

Me: You seem like a cool chick - let's go out for drinks on Thursday.
Sara: Umm.. sure!
Me: Give me your number.
