"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I had nice chat with a cute girl i have class with before class started. After class i decided Ide try to pull her number, so after class i approach her and ask her if she wants to hang out....she says sure so i get her number and a bit later i check it and she left one digit out of her number! I kinda laughed to myself and analyzed the situation....I have class with this girl, so would she be so shallow to do that instead of say "sorry no thanks" and then have to face me again in class? Does she want me to pursue her and give her sh!t about it? I think Ill tell her its kinda hard to call her with the number she gave me and ask if she wants to fix it. Any ideas, comments?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

LOL. First off, were you so excited about getting her number that you didn't even bother looking at it? Whenever I get a number or email I ALWAYS ALWAYS check it then and there (unless I'm putting it into my cell or something) to make sure I can read it and if not I'll make a joke about their terrible handwriting or ask what it says.

Heh, not sure what you'd do though. Maybe draw a big red circle around where the last number should be and when you see her in class, walk by her desk, stop, give it to her, and say "you forgot something", then go sit somewhere else. If she finds you after class and gives it to you, great, if not, move on. Just throwing out ideas..

That's just disrespectful, but funny...

Forget the broad, she dosen't exist anymore. If she's into you she'll approach and wonder why you didn't call or flirt again, until this she's imaginary.

Next class just ask her to go do something right after class. You have it set up perfectly. If it's like a 10am class you can just say "come on, let's go to lunch" on your way out (assuming college) You've already set up that you're not just a stranger since you've talked before.

It seems pretty weird to give a fake number to someone she's in class with so i'm not really sure if she did it on purpose. You'd think it'd be easier to just straight up say no or that she has a boyfriend than to lie to your face and have to see you a few days a week with you obviously knowing she lied. But who the hell knows with chicks? If she goes to lunch make sure to bust on her that she doesn't know her own phone number.

I'd think giving a fake/bad number would be of something girls do to guys they probably won't see again.

Coulda been an accident man....do you know which digit was left off? If you do, you only have to make 10 phone calls to reach her...if you aren't sure which digit, then that's a bit more complex and probably like 70 calls lol. Could be less if she put the "-" in there so you'd have an idea. Really it ain't that hard...you can look up telephone prefixes and make a guess. You'll reach her eventually!

Funny thing, there's actually a number (I think it starts with 202 something) that girls can give a guy they don't like and when they call it there's a pre-recorded message saying "you got this number because you didn't know when to stop, you were a stalker, etc". It's kinda funny and I heard it from some female friends at a bonfire last weekend. So watch out. Or investigate and give it to the girls who won't leave you be :D

How many people fvck up their own phone number by accident? I highly doubt this girl's "one digit short of a full phone number".

She's not interested. When you see her again, don't even bring up the subject of her incomplete phone number. She's not worth the thinking energy for a good comeback.

... yeah, dont go callin numbers until u reach her.

Give her the benefit of the doubt. I like the above suggestion where u circle where the last digit should be and say "you forgot something" and wait for her to bring it back :)

Anything that quickly finds out if shes interested or not is key

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Haha, dude, no, just no.

Imagine the look on her face if she found out that you did that. Creepy stalker signals would be flying all over the place.
But at least you got the number and you can call her 20x a day until the restraining order!
