"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Hey guys, talking to you from Heraklion Crete, where I'm training for the position of 2nd Lieuthtenant Infantry Machinegunner, for my 2 years compulsory army service in Cyprus. The army is an enormous experience, you mature and change in so many ways, and embrace the basics in life and the fact you're a man. If anyone has the opportunity to serve their country for a little time, I would reccomend it.

Anyway, to the point.
Recently my best girl friend back home sent me a very touching message, about missing me, loving me, me being whats missing in her life, how empty and lonely it is without me, which was quite pleasant considering where I am.
The thing is, this girl is hot, I would shag her anyday. So that causes mixed thoughts on my end. (That end too, haha.)

So my problem is this:

How do you handle girl friends who really do like you, love you, feel close to you? Do you apply some game and keep the door open, like c&f or anything else and move on flirts/compliments, or just completely treat her like a close friend, help with problems, do favours, things like that, things that you wouldn't do if you wanted to keep up/build attraction?

About a year or two ago when we first met I was fairly AFC, I've changed a lot and have a completely different mindset and attitude with life and women, but our relationship was based on very friendly support and things like that, I was 16 she was a few months younger, things like that. I'm 18 in December, she's 17 in a few days.

Any mature replies would be greatly appreciated, I'm not looking for a relationship with her really, I'm comfortable with how we are, but it would be good how to apply the DJ mindset to this area of life and how to curb any other feelings that crop up that mess things up.

Thanks guys, hope you're all loving life like you should :D

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Canadian, in Canada, lol

Thing is, she could just miss you, that'd be about it. She might not be sexually interested in you, but she just misses having you around. Happened to me twice.

1) Ask yourself plainly what you want. If you want to advance romantically, it means giving up friendship. However, if you keep a friendship, are you OK not having a romance? I've kept a couple of gals just as friends, watched them go into a relationship, and have mixed feelings. I felt happy they had someone, but a bit left out. My own doing, I know.

2) Given you don't see her all the time, you can't do a lot if you want to advance. You can C&F her to keep the tension.. "You miss someone like me, oh.. you have taste.." or whatever. People here can help. You can flirt with her, and see where that goes.

Take stock of what you have.. you have a connection, and comfort. If you throw in some tension, this could take off. She's willing to open herself to you, at least to tell you she misses you.. who knows?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
