"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

After the last few days, I had a morsel of what a HB feels like...seriously.

HERE'S THE SCOOP:

Few months back, I dated this HB 7. A simple date really, just lunch and a small hangout @ the mall. I practiced the way of the DJ on the field, and it was turning out great. Lunch was done, and we chatted for a few, and I figured, "The chemistry's going pretty well, and I wanna know if I should spend anymore time being around this girl." Thus, I used this pretty neat trick, where I officially ask her out through a game of Hangman. After all the effort, she said, "I see us as friends." Ever since then she's been giving me crappy ass subtle hints that she likes me, and it's bugging the hell out of me. Lame text msg's, phone calls, and she even bought me a shirt for X-mas :p

Then comes this month, where I had my sights on HB 7's friend, and she's a HB 7.5. I suggested a date for Thursday (Check out my last post on the Don Juan Discussion section for more info on this.), but she told me today that she has a basketball event for the team @ school (she is on the team, so I know it ain't BS). She then tells me that her friend, HB 6.5, told her that she wants to go out with me.

At this point I thought, "No, f*ck that. Gave her a chance, she rejected, oh well! Moved on a long time ago. I don't even like her anymore."

I want to give HB7.5 a shot, but HB7 and HB7.5 are good friends, and I get a pretty bad feeling that HB7 will screw up my chances with HB7.5.......or even worse.......HB7.5 will try to hook me up with HB7. I don't want that.

What should I do? Should I be direct with HB7 and say I don't want to date her and give her the LJBF treatment?!?!?! :woo:

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Well if you're already going out with HB7 it's basically too late for 7.5 unless 7.5 wasn't really good friends with 7 in the first place, and in that case you're stuck with 7.5 because everyone will find out that you are a shady person.

Your best bet would've been not asking either out, then you can get BOTH. Make them compete with each other.

But yeah, basically it's too late for 7.5, unless you want to keep her forever lol.

Don't think about 7.5 too much either, she'll automatically raise in value in your head because you think about her too much. So..... either stay with 7, or get with 7.5

ACTUALLY on a different note... If 7 was playing games with you, then you can actually have valid reason to break up with 7 if you let it be known that it was for a VALID good reason, therefore, also raising your status more because you wont put up with sh*t.

7.5 will do 1 of 2.5 things.

1. Think she's lucky.

2. Think the ball is in her court because you broke up with 7 for her.

2.5. Think the ball is in her court, but use you as a status symbol and a reason to rub things in with the fellow woman.

My 2 cents.

Go for either, or just drop both and get some new chicks.

hmmmmmmm...good point about dropping both of them and sarging other girls hahaha, I guess that goes well with the whole being a challenge and stuff.

Let's get one thing clear though, I only dated HB7 ONCE and she rejected me. NOW shes giving me all these obvious cues that she's into me, and she's getting on my nerves. I don't like her and she likes me, and she's being a total AFC

I'm thinking about LJBF on HB7 and try dating HB7.5, but I'm a little worried that those 2 might be chit-chatting behind my back if I do, not that I care TOO much, but I get a gut feeling HB7 might try to foil everything if I LJBF her and date HB7.5.

Sry about the mix up, so should I next both of them and have them chase after me, or should I give HB7.5 a shot and see how it goes?

Next them both. I'm sure there are plenty of other girls.

I do agree that it's a pain in the a$$ when a chick that you're not interested in gives you all kinds of cues and crap. But it gives you a good idea of what an HB feels like when you're all over them and showering them with attention.
