"Blank Mind on Dates? She's Dropping Hints You Keep Missing"

The plates get cleared and the silence lands like a brick. You can feel her waiting. Your brain offers up your commute, your job, the weather — topics that have ended more second dates than bad breath.

Here's what most guys never learn: women hand out free conversational material all night long. Tiny clues about what they actually want to discuss. Catch them and you never run out of things to say — because she's telling you what to say next.

Rule 4 of the "22 Rules" trains your ear to catch every single one.

i was just testing out the skills... i was at the bus station, it was about 7pm. only a few people were around. but it was just me and her near each other. she was on the otherside of the bench. i was on the other. i turned to her and asked how long she'd been waiting for the bus, asked where she came from, what she did today. she answered all the questions politely... i turned around and shut my mouth on purpose to see if she would try talk back.

she didn't. she didn't even ask how MY day was. i'd just like your opinions on what the deal is with these type of situations?

maybe she was taken? maybe she wasn't interested? (i'm a good looking guy, so i dont think it was my looks). although, maybe it could be she just dont like black guys ;)

tell me what you think.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

1. I usually start with a "personal comment / question" about her looks (make-up, body), cloth, etc.

2. Which eventually leads me up to pin point her insecurity / interests.

3. If she likes what she sees / hears she will be more open. Tkman, "You are a really interesting person to talk to, give me you number and lets stay in contact".

4. If she refuses, I will just release a fart on her and run.

LOL :D - That's the DJ attitude TKman, but why run?

Tails - girls don't have to be interested in every guy that approaches her - don't take it personal.

Here's a tip, after you have asked her twenty questions (btw, don't ask twenty questions). Answer one as if she had asked you one of them. Then answer another, pretty soon she'll start asking them herself.

Honestly, people are usually shy around strangers, give them time to realize you are going to stick around and talk to them.

Sometimes strangers just make a comment or 2 then bugger off (what you did). You have to establish that you will stay around for a while, letter her know that you wont run just before she asks a question.

Think about it,

hey u did everything you coulda.

I like your first question, thats always a good way of starting a convo at a bus stop.

The thing I find is, if you talk to a person, and they don't ask you anything at all, they're usually not interested as friends or for a relationship.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
