So Ghosts.
This summer I was driving with my GF past this one car crash sight. It was marked by flowers on the side of the road, a man died there, and that man was a family member of my neighbors. So as I drove I saw a man standing there, but only with the corner of my eye. For all purposes it could have just been a drunk guy coming out of the woods after taking a piss. Except that I didn't see anyone as I was driving, just saw him in the corner of my eye as I was right beside the car crush sight.
What could it be?
Two weeks later my neighbor and I got into argument. He is elderly, and in bad health because of cancer that he lived through. Basically, I think the ghost warned me.
Are the ghosts real? I don't know. Are we real? I don't know.
Perhaps the ghosts phenomenon is our brain's hidden abilities to see and sense events of the future.
But what I do know for sure, is when you see ghosts they are trying to forewarn you of something, not to scare you, or eat you. If you don't believe in ghosts, that's fine, just think of it as your brain trying to tell you something.

My wife thinks so, especially since she watches it in her Japanese Cartoons. I decided to show her what 'real scary' ghosts look like so I got Poltergeist and Ghostbusters... I was just joking around, now she won't stay in the house by herself at night.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
