"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Hi

Just a quick situ... Was just in town with my gf and we are both very happy and we're sat on a bench.

My gfs ex from 10 years ago walked past, made small talk/catch up etc and as was leaving gave her a kiss on cheek. With me sat there.

I feel like he's truly tried to alpha up on me and did it to make a point in front of me.

I'm torn between trying not to look insecure but also an very p****ed at what he did.

My gf herself said he never does this at any other time, and she bumps into him from time to time. He did however make a point of it in front of me.

What would any of you have done in this situation?

Regards

Phil

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Acting angry about it is weak. Him trying to "out alpha," you is immature and weak pn his part. As long as she didn't reciprocate you don't have anything to worry about.

Do nothing
Don't lose frame. If he does it again then just put your hand on his shoulder smile and say "yeah i know you miss her. Sorry fella but she is with me now."

If he is a hot head then he will challege you; and you won't have to. Then kick the piss out of him and you will look like the hero.

Best reaction. No reaction. Let him look like the goon.

What are you going to do? A kiss on the cheek happens so fast... I'd say the kiss is the line drawn on the floor. If he passes it and she doesn't correct him then you step in.

Don't forget there's allot you can do without chumping yourself out. Last time some dude started talking to a girl I was with I just stood up. Acted like I was streching, walked around a bit then just stood there staring at him waiting for him to leave. I was imposing myself on their conversation to make it end sooner. When she asked what was up I just let her know I was getting impatient and bored. Wtf how can a person walk up to two people having a conversation and just start addressing one of them?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

It was a set up by your gf to test you.

Don't react, he might have did it to test you..

No mater what it was.... it was nothing in the end... a kiss on cheek iss how you welcome someone in warm culture (even the cold ones).

If you freak out for that... you have insecurity issues.

I kiss cheek all my ex and plates. It's just a warm welcome.

No reaction is the alpha way

Never react to a guy when he's pulling that stuff. Your girl should be the one telling him it isn't cool and setting boundaries. Next time he's around make out with her right in front of him, get all physical with her, move your hands all over her body. Nothing will make him look like a chump more than sitting there ignored as you take what he wants right in front of him and remind him of his place as the beta.

Have another girl kiss you on the cheek in front of her.

If all he got was cheek kiss and you are getting better. It's not like she went for a mouth kiss during the encounter. Nothing to worry about yet.

I don't get it... Not everything is a **** test or mortal combat.

I have kissed exes from years ago on the cheek in front of their husbands.... Nothing passionate just a friendly kiss. If you have managed to stay friends what is the big deal ?

Could be an age thing or a cultural thing but in my view it's just being civil.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

who cares what the ex did, what matters is what your gf did.

neither you nor your gf are in control of her ex, HOWEVER she is in control of herself, so if she was perfectly okay with it or worse, seemed to be encouraging/enjoying it in any way, THAT would be a problem. anything else isn't a big deal, just her ex being a d!ck to screw with you.

i dont agree with another man putting his hands on my chick unless its a family member.

for you that cant grasp that logic..say i jave a gf and she does this and im supposed to be cool with her ex walking up in front of me, putting his hands on and kissing my current chick. no biatch you dont take food off my plate or a bite out of my sandwich.

me personally im too territorial...if that situ went down on my watch. lol itd be nukes. id tell my gf ok ill make sure next time my exgf is around ill put my hand on her hip hug her so those titties mash my chest and let my lips touch her cheek....you see its just not cool. honestly id probably go fk someone if this happened. its extreme but id want to do that to get even. because if she let him kiss her then she woikd let him fukk her (again). and its just disrespectful.

"Hey bro, don't I get a kiss on the cheek too?"

I find when other men are trying to out-alpha me, I just pull the 'I'm gay and I think you have a cute butt' card on them. It makes the girl laugh and makes the dude uncomfortable.
