GF's coming over for dinner... I think?

She's teasing me.... she's been pregnant for 6 months now, and sex hasn't come too often in her condition. Part of that is my fault.... Anyway.... today, sounding like a total AFC trying to do this, don't know if it's the lack of lovins or what but... I'm like 'Hey why don't you tell me what you are in the mood for, and I'll cook it up for us for dinner?'
she then replies, 'Well, what are you going to cook?'
I then reply in AFC mode, 'Well, I was leaving that choice up to you... but if you want me to make that decision...'

she then replies 'I don't want you to make that decision, I don't want a 24 meat caserole.'

...I then reply 'If you don't give me an idea what you want, I'm making whatever the f*ck I want for us tonight!'

she then replies 'Then I don't want anything.'

I say 'Perfect! I'm fine with that, you will get nothing and like it.'

she then replies 'Mean ass!' ..we both chuckle, then I say 'you are driving me back to smoking, you know that don't you?'

she then replies 'Hey! Don't blame that on me! You are an adult, you do whatever you want, just don't blame me for it!'

I then returned with '..I gotta go grab a smoke, talk to you later.'

she says 'HEY!! If you do, don't blame it on me! I love you!'

I say 'love you too.. bye.'

....I know most of it was out of good fun but.... I just want to do something nice for her you know, wtf?! ....doesn't help the situation any that I quit smoking for over a week.
Anyone got any suggestions, ideas, or ways to handle this?

Honestly, I just want to grab something to eat after work, and catch Kill Bill by myself at this point. Pregnant woman are no fun whatsoever!

Heh man, congrats on almost being a daddy.

I think what the situation is, you are just a bit stressed. Dont worry yourself over dinner, just enjoy it man. Make it a surprise, catch a movie.

And stop smoking, its just not benefitial to anyone in this life.

Thanks Ox, I did stop.... I'm not going back to it.... but sometimes talking to her on the damn phone, I want to smoke a pack hella fast!

Nah..... I'm not doing that again.... I mean, she's my girl and all but.... not going to stress this relationship with marriage right now, especially with a baby on the way. Maybe down the road further..... a BIG maybe.

Got any suggestions as to how to better handle this woman bro? LOL!

Like I said, I want to be kind to her, and sweet, but I keep catching myself pulling AFC moves.....

You gotta remember man, when a girl gets pregnant, she goes CRAAAAZZZyyy!. One minute she is cold, another she is sweating, she might want this, and suddenly hate it.

It would be a good idea to support her and be there for her, but you dont want to dive into the AFC pool.
MAke decisions for yourself. If she flakes on you (and u know its her personality and not the pregnancy) then show her that you can make decisions for both of you if she wishes to be that way.
