WTF! And this is a 24 year old woman???"Change your myspace back to in a relationship"
You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?
Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.
One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.
Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.
WTF! And this is a 24 year old woman???"Change your myspace back to in a relationship"
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
effing a I was in a similar situation about a year ago and I wish I would of handled it like that.Scorched said:GF gets drunk, texts me, "I cant see you ne more"
I text her back... "k, well its been fun, good luck with life, bye"
She replies... "Bye, I miss you"
Next morning she calls me,
"I'm sorry I didn't mean it"
I laughed at her... told her i had two dates this weekend already set up.
She immediately wants to come over and "talk about it in person"
I say... "well if your at my doorstep when I get home from work, I guess I'll have to let you in..."
I vote to stay single, keep telling her we might get back together...
And basically use her...
Anyone else have a girlfriend that would get drunk and break up with ya?
lmao
Scorched said:Answer to the questions then update.
Been seeing her around 8 months, I'd see her twice a week when she was in town for school, she'd pay for most her meals, it worked out great... I've learned a lot though, especially being that she is 2 years older... She was a true challenge.
Last night I over slept past our date. I work nights... So when I got out of bed I was like 2 1/2 hours past the time she normally comes over. I had 3 missed calls. I call her back. She is at home and clearly had a few drinks... We talk about how I over slept and didn't stand her up. But she was convenced I had stood her up. Then I get the text.. "I cant see you ne more"
Update*
So this morning I get home... Ignored her calls... She is parked right out side of my apartment and basically follows me in. She constantly pushes and pushes. Saying what ever she can do get me back. Like... "I didn't mean the text" "It was an accident" "Change your myspace back to in a relationship" (LMAO) "Please take me back" "Do you not want to be with me anymore?" Mostly I didn't answer her, just laughed. So eventually she starts crying and THEN... She tells me she loves me for the first time... I didn't say ****... So I got in my boxers and went to bed. She curled up on my next to me. I put her hand on my c*ck and then 5 mins later pushed her head down. Yes, the head was good... I told her thanks for the -Make up head- ... yeah... So then I slept 6 hours and ****ed her when I got out of bed. Showered and now she is out getting dinner and a few things I need from the store...
Well I am on crutches from a skiing accidnet. So I had a valid reason to cancel a double date I had tonight. Besides it will make this other girl want me that much more...
Thanks guys, Later
I agree. I didn't know the situation or realise you had done this when I read your first post. The poor girl probably doesn't think you give a sh1t about her, especially if you made no real attempt to apologise or make it upto her after.Phyzzle said:I think she broke up because he agreed to meet her and slept right through it.
I, for example, am one of those people who get remarkably pissed when people have me clear my schedule and get ready to go somewhere, then they pass out/get too stoned/change their minds without bothering to tell me.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I dont know who you are or where you came from. When I looked at the tittle i thought this was going to be a simp post, boy was I wrong. Way to man up. There is hope for mankind after all. Thank you sir.Scorched said:GF gets drunk, texts me, "I cant see you ne more"

This is actually true. Scorched, the way you handled it initially is awesome, but you have to ask yourself if maybe, just maybe, she really DOES care about you a lot more than one drunken night's actions would suggest. If she came over, did all this stuff, etc. then maybe there is hope (if you want her back that is).Jariel said:I agree. The text was probably just a test to see how much you care and it backfired on her. I think you should give her the benefit of the doubt. It's obvious this girl thinks the world of you.
I'm sure if a guy came on here saying "My GF overslept and left me standing" he'd get a lot of responses ripping into her and telling him to ditch her.
What other 15 year old girl games does she pull though? There has to have been bull like this before... and will be later.lebRambo said:This is actually true. Ya I HATE that when it happens, I take it as a sign of disrespect since I actually cared and changed my schedule for someone but they didn't do the same and not telling someone is the worst thing to do cuz it literally means they don't give a sh*t about your time or effort.Phyzzle said:I think she broke up because he agreed to meet her and slept right through it.

You can ease back into a relationship if she keeps being nice, but remember, you can't keep her enthralled if you're too tired and busy to see her.
You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.
I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.
Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.
These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.
I found out she was with her best friend that night. Her best friend is a single female, so yeah...absolut honesty said:well you know she broke up with you like that most likely because some friend of hers made her do it.
I slightly agree...jariel said:This is actually true. And if you do decide to take her back, dont make it too easy for her (obviously I dont have to tell you this). But, in the same vein, dont treat her like complete crap either. A man stands up for himself and knows his worth, but he is also not without mercy and is certainly not vindictive and spiteful. Don't make the same mistake that she made.
Very well put and shows a very good understanding of women. I'm with you 100% here. She must be hurting a lot starting from the moment she was "stood up".IamtheAlphamale said:This girl does not seem so bad to me she just did something very stupid. Girls are HIGHLY emotional and they freak out a lot. You don't need to be cruel to be a dj you just have to not be a "nice guy." You know I realize that he played this 'correctly' but you people really seem to have no regard for other people. Women are people too. Being nice makes them like you more.. trust me.
So what?Very well put and shows a very good understanding of women. I'm with you 100% here. She must be hurting a lot starting from the moment she was "stood up".
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
woooo, that is some vicious shvt, props to you bro :cheer:Scorched said:Update*

That's no reason for her to lose control over herself and act like she did.
Scorched made the right decision. He's a GOOD GUY. If she doesn't pull off shiit like that anymore he's going to treat her right after the 4 weeks. And the relationship will flourish from this.
He is right about being carefull. And it teaches her a lesson in self-esteem and control.
She was wrong to draw conclusions about him disliking her to soon and he showed her that. In a way, he is doing something very valuable.
