"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Hey guys, I was dating a girl for around 4 months. Things had being going well, and out of all the girls I've ever been with, she was the only girl I've ever felt it for badly and the only girl I've truly wanted an LTR with.

We had 1 problem though, we live about an hour from each other, so we only saw each other about once a week. It was becoming a bit of a problem, and I talked about about moving closer to her so that she could come to my house more often, etc. We could stand a chance of getting to know each other better and deepen the relationship, have sex etc rather than just meeting up in town every time.

I told her I couldn't move closer to her until after christmas/new year, and she told me she was very frustrated about the distance and that we hardly saw each other.

I had hoped to sort that out, but last night after I saw her she didn't contact me, so I texted her and she then texted back saying she 'doesn't feel right with me anymore' and she 'doesn't love me anymore'. She didn't even have the decency to tell me in person.

I feel pain like I've never felt before, and no that does NOT make me an AFC, it makes me HUMAN. I gave this relationship everything, and I'm gutted. I know it's a long shot, but what would be the best way for me to act in order to have a chance of getting back with her. I don't want to beg her back (that would be AFC) and I don't want her to know I'm heartbroken, I was thinking of just not contacting her for weeks, then she may wonder why and talk to me. I don't want to act like the typical guy and beg her back.

Guys, I've realised that keeping a girl is probably a bigger skill than simply approaching and getting numbers/dates/sex. In my heart I want an LTR, not hundreds of women, and I want to get my gf back if possible.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

You were with her for 4 months and you never even had sex once with her? It's no wonder she ended it. You need serious help here.

Oh and, find someone new. This time, make sure they live closer so at least you can f*ck.

So let me get this right... this girl didn't have the decency to dump you in person... but she's oh so great that you want to get back with her?

Last girl I saw on somethin a little more serious lived probably 25 minutes from me, I've got a car so its not much BUT we both had such busy schedules that we saw each other like once a week... it wasn't an issue, we had our fun, I'd stay over at her place then use the other free time I had which didn't coincide with hers to do things with mates or with myself... and it went on for 2 months...

Now in your situation I see two things... you dated her for 4 months but didn't have sex?? [because you lived an hour away]? Honestly, an hours travelling whilst not great isn't the end of the world.. if I'm travelling up to Leeds in the morning rush hour I will be on the road for like an hour and a half... I used to get 2 buses to Trafford Centre to work and that took me 90 minutes one-way... now I hated that Trafford Centre travelling BUT that was because I was spending all that time to travel to work NOT travelling to do something that I actually WANTED to do...

IF you really wanted to spend time together but, I dunno, neither of you had your own place or parents who didn't mind a GF / BF stayin over then there's always the hotel option... you can get rooms across Manchester for like £25 at Special Offer on Travelodge / Premier Lodge sites... £12.50 each for a lot of fun!!?? Bargain I say...

But hey, to return to the earlier story of my once a week girl... she turned the silent type on me and essentially ditched me and I was disappointed about that because things were going so well across the board until unbeknownst and out of the blue she disappears off the map... you know how I came to terms with that? It took a couple of days but I realised that if this girl wasn't even gonna call me or txt me with the decency to say WTF happened... [and its somethin that all my friends were massively surprised about, not some blatantly obvious f*ck up on my part] then I really didn't want to see this girl... so I didn't text / call her anythin, and 2 weeks went by and guess what, I got a random txt from her yesterday... did I reply? No, for the reason above as much fun as we did have...

The best thing you can do is MOVE on.. I mean, my first paragraph explains why you shouldn't even want to attempt to get back with this girl... around the corner will be another girl, and she'll probably even live a little closer or just be in a better situation where you can hook up more often and do the things that you want to do... thats the best part about having the skills of a DJ, when somethin falls through for what may be no fault of your own, you've built up such an infrastructure in your life that you can keep occupied, put things into perspective, and you've not got any big issue in picking up another girl who you can potentially establish somethin more LTR with..

Since I split I've had so much fun... I'm lucky that doing what I do I'm able to go out most nights and not worry if I get in late the next morning because I just set about working from then or take my day off then catch it up on the other days... I've met endless girls, some have been ONS, some have been a little short term fun, and there's one or two of those who I think I'd like to establish somethin a little more with, inparticularly the most beautiful Italian girl that I met last week

Essentially, what I'm trying to convey is that its far from the end of the world... in fact its the start of somethin bigger and better... and hey, you're based in Stockport, if I remember rightly? We're both Manchester lads.. and you know there's NO shortage of women there... if you want a tip, Saturday night, Prohibition, just off Deansgate... make sure your on your game and watch your woes disappear as soon as you step through the door and see the girls in there...
