Getting stuff back

How do you guys handle retrieving stuff post breakup? My ex has had my watch since the breakup, thing is I never mentioned the watch to her and took her two weeks to finally reach out and say she has it.

Was arranging to pick it up at her place but schedules conflicted, we both work near each other...asked to stop by her job to get it. Would you guys ask her to come outside or walk in? I really don't want to go inside not knowing what coworkers know and what not. Any thoughts?

Just walk in dammit. Why do you care what others (of whom you will probably never see again) think of you?

Forget it . If she doesn't offer to return it then you know she is trash. Walk away.

Get online and look up "demand letter". Draft one demanding your stuff within 30 days or you take her to small claims court. Mail to her via Certified US Mail and require that she personally be the only one who can sign for it. Now gather any receipts you have that may prove the stuff is yours. Or any evidence you have that you can prove its yours; a picture of it, a text message or email where you talked about it, anything.. If she doesn't respond to your demand letter, take her azz to small claims court.
