“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

So my buddy tells me that he knows a girl that he wants to set me up with, she sends a picture, looks cute enough, he sends her my picture, she apparently likes it, so she gives him the green light to give me her number on Saturday. Now intially I planned to call her up and get that awkward introductory conversation out of the way straight up but I was told that she is kinda shy so I should text her instead. I asked a few other people and the consensus was that a text would be better and that I should send her something on Sunday so I agreed.

I text her on Sunday evening, just a brief introductory hello, how was your weekend, light text. And wouldn't you know it, I haven't heard a peep back from her! I've learned a lot from this site so I'm hoping to get some advice for you guys.

Obviously she was interested because she gave the number to give to me, is she playing it cool by waiting to respond?

If I don't get any response should I call her up, being my last effort?

Of should I just forget about it?

I'm not overly excited about it so I don't feel like I have anything to lose by trying a second attempt but from everything I've read here it seems to be a standard practice to forget it at this point. I mean, I would love to meet this girl and see where it goes but I don't want to look eager and thirsty for her.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I wouldn't text her again or bring it up to your friend, pretend like it didn't happen. If your friend asks what happened just say I texted her and she didn't respond and drop it like you don't care.

welcome to your standard 21st century girl bro

your text was probably in amongst 20 others from orbiters and afc's your clearly not high enough on her "to do" list

forget about her i wouldnt even bother calling her

you may get a reply in a few days and if you do make sure you take an equal amount of time with yours

I'm definitely not going to text her again or call for that matter but you actually hit on my next thought. If she does text me back, should I mirror her delayed response time?

I'll bet you anything it will get blamed on you. Here's what I mean, your friend might ask her "has apprenticedj talked to you yet?" and she'll say "nope, haven't heard from him". Then your friend will be like "dude why haven't you texted her yet, she says you didn't!" You'll claim you did and now you're already starting off with b.s. drama.

I hope your friends are better at setting you up with girls then mine are. Mine have set me up with girls I wouldn't give the time of day to! Most were good looking but they had jack to offer otherwise.

Thanks for the replies fellas.

Bingo-Player: Yes sir, this is a perfect example of scarcity vs. abundance. If I had a nice roster of plates spinning then I wouldn't give two sh*ts. Oh well, on to the next one.

I_was_born_a_PIMP: Spot on, I think it looks weak too. This was a great lesson is trusting my instinct and my gut. I knew a call was best but multiple people told me to text instead. I knew better!

Robert28: I'm in total agreement with you. The other possible outcome would be her saying that I texted her but she prefers a call. If that's the case I still won't call her, I don't want to bending to her wants straight out of the gate, terrible start.

Another GREAT example of the downside of texting. In this case, you're texting a girl that hasn't had a chance to hear your voice, which is a HUGE thing a woman needs to hear even if she decides to get all texty on you afterwards. Think about it like this: you get her number and try to text her first instead of calling her to chat. Then, you meet up and she finds out you sound like Steve Urkel or some other guy with a high-pitched squeaky voice. Panties lock up instantly, and she feels like she wasted her time. Or, you could be someone that uses "like" or curses too much when talking, or you could sound uneducated and mispronounce words... the point is, if you haven't met a girl, a PHONE CALL should be the first thing you do to get the date. At the very least you can leave a voice message saying "Hey, this is so-and-so's friend, he said it was cool to call you, here's my number, hit me back when u get a chance" and be done with it. Instead, you've created a game where you get to worry about whether or not she's really ignoring you or if she got the text in the first place (and I've had times where a person sends me a text and I get it DAYS later).

My advice? Wait a few days, then CALL her up and try again.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

The solution? EVER get set up by anyone. The most you should agree to is a hang-out where you check the girl out. Fück good recommendations that she's perfect for you, fück pictures, and fück what her Instagram photos look like. See her in the flesh and ask her out on the spot if you like her. Way too many variables and you're going into it with at best 50% of the info you need.
